A Sneak Peek at the Dining Options on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

by | Aug 7, 2021 | Disney's Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World News, WDW Blog

As if it’s not clear from the brief little peeks we’ve gotten, there’s going to be a ton to experience next year’s immersive Star Wars cruise, but we’re perhaps most excited about the unique and bizarre Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser dining options.

After all, like any good visit to Walt Disney World Resort, one of the highlights is all that delicious, delicious food. When Disney spilled the bith beans on the Galactic Supercruiser this week, we all got an early taste of what dining options are available on this incredible dream voyage. Here’s what and where you’ll be noshing on your two-night, one-of-a-kind adventure.

Get Your Three Square Meals in a Galaxy Far, Far Away

When you book your trip on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the cost of your package includes two breakfasts, lunches, and dinners spread out over three days. For your meals, you’ll be hitting up the Crown of Corellia Dining Room, where you’ll find a mix of strange and familiar dishes.

Disney will likely reveal more information on the specific dishes as this starcruiser gets closer to launch, but you can expect plenty of great food to get your adventure started on the right note.

And, yes, you will definitely be able to get Bubo Wamba Family Farms blue milk. Chug-a-lug!

Two Exceptional Dinner Experiences

What would a dream Star Wars vacation package be without a spectacular dinner? On the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, you’ll have two unforgettable evening dining experiences.

On your first night, you’ll head into the Crown of Corellia Dining Room for a supper club experience complete with “a special musical appearance by a galactic superstar.” Has to be Sy Snootles, right? Unless Chewie took singing lessons, that is.

Night two you’ll take part in Taste Around the Galaxy, a multi-course dining experience that draws on the many worlds and environments of Star Wars.

Each course will get a tableside introduction, and your evening will consist of an appetizer, entrée, and dessert.

As for what Taste Around the Galaxy includes? We only have a few images to go on so far, but: blue shrimp. For real, y’all.

And if you really want to style, you can be at the center of the galaxy during dinner by booking the Captain’s Table in the Crown of Corellia. The central-most table in the dining room is the prime space for enjoying all the action, and you can reserve it for an additional fee.

Dining Odds and Ends

Snacking and refreshments are also essential for a complete Disney and Star Wars experience. On the Galactic Starcruiser, you’ve got plenty of options.

For one, there’s the Sublight Lounge, which is a great place to grab a drink before or after dinner. Play a game of sabacc while you’re there and try to avoid scum and villainy.

On your second day, you’ll make a Planet Excursion to Batuu for a visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While you’re there, your vacation package entitles you to a complementary quick-service meal at spots like Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Kat Saka’s Kettle, and other spots in the park like Epic Eats and Fairfax Fare.

If you’re excited for your chance to hop aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, you’re going to want to keep your eyes peeled. Expect more details to come as this cruiser gets closer to taking off next spring.
