Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Poster Gives Us First Look Inside New Hotel

by | Jul 21, 2021 | Disney's Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World, Walt Disney World News

Today, Disney unveiled this stunning poster for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the out-of-this-world resort hotel that will continue the deep immersion that Galaxy’s Edge first gave us with Rise of the Resistance.

All in one place: Here’s everything you need to know about the Galactic Starcruiser hotel

The poster has a lot going on and is as gasp-worthy as hearing Darth Vader say, “I am your father.” In the very center of the Galactic Starcruiser poster are a First Order officer and a Twi’lek. To their immediate right and left stand a young Jedi with a piercing blue lightsaber and a youngling. Just below them is an R-series astromech droid, but this one looks much more high-tech than our beloved R2.

Hovering in the left upper corner is the Halcyon staircruiser, which serves as the actual resort during the two-night stay. While aboard, you’ll be able to enjoy galactic dining, entertainment, and service that only Disney and Star Wars could deliver together.

On the other side of the poster’s top, you’ll spot an old friend: Chewbacca wielding his bowcaster, ready to take on whatever mayhem may erupt aboard the ship.

Down below on he left is a blue waitress (we’re not on earth, remember?) serving a family as they dine in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room. But more exciting is what’s on the bottom right: a young Jedi undergoing lightsaber training, which you’ll be able to experience during your stay.

But looming above everything else in the top middle is the formidable Kylo Ren, ready to command the Stormtroopers tucked into the left-hand side of the poster. Whatever you have planned for your stay on the Galactic Starcruiser, you can be sure Kyle Ren will thwart.

This Star Wars: Galactic Cruiser poster is only the beginning. Disney will likely be storming us with details ahead of the resort opening in 2022.
