Vacations are a beautiful thing, but packing for them? Not so exciting—especially if you’re not sure what you need. Fortunately, if you plan to pay a visit to the brand-new Star Wars hotel on Disney Property after it opens next spring, Disney has provided a handy list of what to pack for your Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser excursion.

Disney’s list for what you should pack for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser shouldn’t offer too many surprises. We’re mostly talking the essentials that you’d want to have on any trip, Disney-related or otherwise.
According to Disney, you should pack:
- Photo ID or passport
- Phone and charging accessories
- Camera and accessories like batteries, memory cards, and so on
- Prescription glasses or contact lenses
- Medication in the original container
- Hair supplies (Disney says specifically to bring supplies “for your favorite Star Wars hairstyle,” so whatever you need to achieve those Leia buns)
- Sunscreen
- Hats (What better time to break out that fresh new bowler you bought recently?)
If you pack all this—and your imagination—you’ll be well on your way to an enjoyable vaycay. Oh, and while we’re here: Don’t forget your toothbrush and deodorant. The Force is powerful, but it won’t help you with stinky breath.
What You Should Wear to Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

Even though the Galactic Starcruiser takes you deep into the many worlds of Star Wars, you’re still in Florida. And what that means, among other things, is that you’ll need to dress like you’re in Florida.
Coziness should be your top priority. While you’ll spend a lot of time on the Starcruiser, also keep in mind that you’ll be taking a Planet Excursion to Galaxy’s Edge. So bring clothes that you feel comfortable in out in the park.
Priority two, however, is showing off how much you love Star Wars. Whether that’s branded T-shirts or donning the Sith cloak robe you scooped up last time you visited Galaxy’s Edge, be loud and proud about your love of Star Wars.
Here’s what Disney recommends you bring to wear for your trip aboard the Star Wars: Galaxy Starcruiser.
- Attire from the Star Wars galaxy like robes, costumes, etc.
- Jeans/pants/shorts (yes, these are absolutely necessary despite what the last several months have taught us)
- Sunglasses
- T-shirts
- Light jacket like a raincoat or windbreaker
- Sweatshirt, hoodie, or sweater in case things get chilly
- Sundresses
- Comfortable walking shoes, sneakers, or sandals
Disney curiously doesn’t include underwear on the list, but hey, the Galaxy Starcruiser is a no judgment zone. Do as thou wilt.
How to Get to the Galactic Starcruiser

On the day of your trip, you’ll want to head to the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Terminal at 201 South Studio Drive in Bay Lake. Expect to arrive between 1 and 4 PM.
Parking at the terminal is included with your package. You’ll also need to register your guests beforehand, so don’t try and smuggle on any stowaways.
With the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser opening next year, you’ve got a bit of time to think over your packing list … and acquire your ideal Star Wars garb. Get cracking—spring of 2022 will be here before you know it.
