Disney has officially announced a Galactic Starcruiser opening date: March 1, 2022.
Pack your bags; we’re boarding the Halcyon. That’s right, after months of speculation, Disney has finally announced when we’ll be able to take the world’s most, well, out-of-this-world, cruise. The Galactic Starcruiser’s maiden voyage is March 1, 2022, and I am crossing my fingers that I’ll be there on the opening date.
Think that’s a long shot? I find your lack of faith disturbing.
Disney’s Big Announcement: Galactic Starcruiser Opening Date
Disney Imagineer and queen visionary of Galactic Starcruiser, Ann Morrow Johnson, made the big announcement this morning from a never-before-seen section of the new Galactic Starcruiser hotel just outside Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios. Standing from the bridge, she told us all about the Glaactic Starcruiser experience, but it was nothing we didn’t already know.
But just as she was signing off, she dropped a bomb as big as Tatooine. Galactic Starcruiser would be opening March 1, 2022.
Awww, yeah!
When Can You Book Galactic Starcruiser?
Galactic Starcruiser may open on March 1, 2022, but you’ll want to book much sooner to ensure you get a spot onboard the maiden voyage.
Booking opens on Oct. 28, 2021, and you can bet this thing will fill up for months almost immediately.
Disney Vacation Club members, Annual Passholders, and Disney Visa cardholders should be on the lookout for a special booking opportunity in advance.
