Looking for a new Disney airport transportation once Magical Express is retired? I tried out Quicksilver Tours and Transportation and had a magical experience.
Disney’s Magical Express will no longer be offered as of January 1, 2022. Luckily, there are some options for other ways to guarantee a safe and comfortable ride to Walt Disney World from MCO.
Quicksilver Tours and Transportation is one of these magical Disney airport transportation services.

A Ride to Your Happy Place

You know that long walk down the airport hallway you have to take to get to the Magical Express area? Yeah, you can skip that with Quicksilver Tours and Transportation.
Just head over to the luggage carousel area. Your driver will meet you there with an iPad that has your name on it.
Our driver Michael was quick to help us with our luggage as soon as it came off the carousel. He then led us over to his car, parked just outside. We hopped inside the Cadillac Escalade, and Michael immediately offered us the water bottles sitting in the cup holders.

Our ride to Disney Property was clean, comfortable, and efficient. Our destination was the Dolphin Hotel at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort, which has never been part of the Magical Express transportation system anyway.
Upon arrival Michael once again helped us with our bags and accepted credit card payment for the ride via his iPad.
Booking Your Car
If you’re interested in booking your next trip to and from MCO with Quicksilver Tours and Transportation, head over to their website and fill out their reservation form, available 24/7. Be sure to let them know WDW Magazine recommended you.
We do make a small commission from each booking we send their way, and that really helps us pay for additional experiences we can review for you right here on our blog. And trust me, we wouldn’t recommend a service we haven’t had a very good experience with!

We really appreciate the shout-out!
Once you book your reservation, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all your details. The email will also contain a phone number you can call in case you have difficulty finding your driver at any point along the way. But the excellent service doesn’t stop there!

Riding in Style

A limo took us home! Photo by Tatjana Lazar
When it was time to return to MCO, Michael came to pick us up from our resort. You won’t necessarily have the same driver both ways, but we got lucky.
In fact, we got so lucky that Michael showed up to get us in a limo! That was an unexpected upgrade that had me giggling as I climbed into the sleek black limo in my running shoes and leggings. I felt like I should have been dressed a little nicer.
To be fair, when we got our confirmation call the day before, we were asked if it would be OK for our pickup vehicle to be a limo. It wasn’t a complete surprise. And it just goes to show once again that the staff at Quicksilver Tours and Transportation are truly thinking about the comfort of their guests.
