Great Location

Guests who stay at the Swan or Dolphin are within walking distance to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Tired feet? Guests can opt to take a leisurely boat ride to either park as well!

The Price!

Compared to Disney Deluxe resort prices, the rooms at Swan & Dolphin almost always cost less! For the proximity to two theme parks and the Boardwalk, the cost of staying here can certainly be justified! If you are part of Marriott Rewards, you can use points towards your stay!

Dining Options Galore

From counter service to fine dining, these two resorts feature 12 restaurants guests can enjoy! If that’s not enough, the Swan & Dolphin are conveniently located between Disney’s Boardwalk and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts; giving guests plenty of additional dining options.

Lacks that Disney Feeling

The Swan & Dolphin resorts are certainly magnificent with an elegance about them – however, there isn’t much Disney-theming to be seen. These hotels can be a great fit for those who get their Disney-fix in the parks, and just need a neutral place to relax afterward.

Fees

The Swan & Dolphin resorts have additional fees; a nightly resort fee, a daily parking fee, and a mini-bar fee if you utilize that amenity in your room. The plus side here is you will receive free parking at the theme parks if you show your room key.

No Magical Express

These two resorts aren’t included in Disney’s Magical Express airport transportation, however, many guests utilize Uber or Lyft for a reasonable fee.

Should You Stay at the Swan or Dolphin?

Do a price comparison, but you’ll likely find that the overall price of the Swan or Dolphin is likely less than staying at a Disney Deluxe resort. If you don’t mind the lack of Disney flare within these resorts, the location can’t be beat! The swimming pools at both hotels are large and enjoyable, and you won’t go hungry at either location!

If the price is still out of your budget, consider staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside. They offer a variety of food options, and you can catch a boat ride to Disney Springs!

Not sure if you’re going? You can just get more information about a potential Disney vacation.
