In 2020, Disney World retired their Extra Magic Hours, replacing them with two new perks for staying on property: Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours. Early Theme Park Entry is available to guests staying at any Walt Disney World Resort, allowing them to enter the parks 30 minutes prior to opening. Extended Evening Hours allow guests to stay in the parks after they close — but they are only available for those staying at select resorts.

What are Extended Evening Hours?

Disney World’s Extended Evening Hours are available for those staying at Disney World Deluxe Resorts, Deluxe Villa Resorts, as well as the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and Shades of Green. The perk allows guests of these hotels to enjoy extended hours on select nights at select parks, giving them the opportunity to enjoy a variety of rides and attractions with lower wait times.
