How to Rent DVC Points
So, how does renting DVC points work? There are several sites available that current DVC members work with in order to “rent out” their points for others to use. Using the site, you are able to book a Disney Vacation Club property using that member’s points. This means you will likely be paying significantly less than you would if booking directly through the Disney website.
Using David’s DVC Rentals
While there are multiple locations to rent DVC points, we recommend using our partners at David’s DVC Rentals for booking. The site makes the process of renting points as simple as possible, with a helpful team on hand to answer any questions. The process for David’s DVC Rentals starts by using their helpful cost calculator. Here, you can input your dates, and calculate how much your total would be at each of the Disney Vacation Club properties
Then, you can go ahead and select your preferred dates and hotels (you can choose up to three options). You’ll pay a $105 deposit along with your request, which will be returned to you if none of your preferred hotels are available for your dates. Alternatively, if your room types are available, that deposit will be absorbed into the cost of your trip.

Typically, you’ll hear back within a day, and payment is due in full within 24 hours of being notified. The DVC member will put the lead guest’s name and information on the reservation, so you’ll be able to receive a confirmation number and add everything to My Disney Experience easily.

Yes, you can connect your reservation to any Disney services. Once booked, you’ll receive the confirmation number that you can use on My Disney Experience to link to your account. This way, you can book your Advance Dining Reservations 60 days in advance, and connect any park tickets.
Guests booking in Disneyland and Disney’s Aulani Resort can also connect their confirmation number to MyDisneyland or My Aulani, respectively.
