Here’s your round-up of October 2022 Disney World refurbishments for closed attractions and resorts.
If you’re planning on visiting Walt Disney World (WDW) in October, you’ll want to know what isn’t going to be up and running during your trip.
But you won’t have to guess what’ll be open and temporarily closed in October! Each month, we compile a list of everything scheduled to undergo refurbishment in the month ahead.
There’s pretty much nothing doing for refurbishments in October 2022! That means you can enjoy Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and all your favorite rides and entertainment without fear of missing out.
Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World Railroad: Scary but true: TRON Lightcycle / Run testing is still ongoing, but the WDW Railroad could reopen by the holidays.
The Chapeau: The Chapeau remains closed through 2022. Until it reopens, Box Office Gifts at the Town Square Theater is where you’ll find your must-have mouse ears and Bonjour! Village Gifts is the spot for cool artwork and other rad souvenirs.
Animal Kingdom

EPCOT

October 2022 Disney World Refurbishments
Rides close often for regular service and maintenance, so any unexpected closures will likely only last for a short while. If nothing else, it’s just another excuse to come back and experience the magic again.
