Don’t miss the chance to meet Mickey Mouse himself at Disney World – we’re sharing all of his meet and greet locations across the theme parks and resorts.
When you’re planning your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, there’s one must-do you just can’t skip: meeting Mickey Mouse! The main mouse himself is one of the most exciting “attractions” available at Disney World’s theme parks, and he’s simply so iconic that you just can’t miss the opportunity to see his latest attire and get an absolutely adorable photo (and a memorable character encounter too, of course). Luckily, it’s easy to find Mickey in the parks and make time to stop by for a quick hello.
Typically, you can expect to find Mickey greeting Guests in one designated location inside each of the four theme parks. He doesn’t show up in multiple spots within the same park – after all, he’s just one mouse! Below, we’re sharing Mickey’s regular meet and greet locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort so you can find him easily.
- Mickey at Magic Kingdom Park
- Mickey at EPCOT
- Mickey at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Mickey at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Other Mickey Locations
Where to Find Mickey at Magic Kingdom Park
Inside Magic Kingdom Park, you won’t have to go far to find Mickey Mouse! Disney’s most famous figure greets Guests right on Main Street, U.S.A. inside Town Square Theater. Here, you can step inside Mickey’s rehearsal room, check out props and posters from throughout his decades-long career, and maybe even see a magic trick or two while you wait.
Don’t want to stand in a long line here? This popular Mickey Mouse meet and greet spot does offer a Genie+ Lightning Lane, so you can save time if you’re able to get a Lightning Lane reservation during the day of your Magic Kingdom visit.
Where to Find Mickey at EPCOT
Over at EPCOT, Mickey is hanging out at the entrance to the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, located right near Journey Into Imagination with Figment. This is a particularly great meet and greet spot to visit – here, Mickey greets Guests in his classic black jacket and red pants outfit.
Plus, as an added perk, this isn’t a super popular Mickey character encounter! Since it’s somewhat off the beaten path inside EPCOT, the wait to meet Disney’s most beloved character is typically pretty short here.
If you’re looking for a less classic Mickey Mouse outfit and don’t mind trading in a traditional meet-and-greet for a character dining experience, you can also catch the mouse himself over at The Land pavilion, inside Garden Grill Restaurant. Here, Mickey is known to pop in wearing his farmer’s overalls, along with other famous faces like Chip, Dale, and Pluto.
Where to Find Mickey at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
If you’ve always wanted to catch Mickey in his iconic Sorcerer Mickey attire, you’ll want to make a beeline for Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Here, you can head to Red Carpet Dreams on Commissary Lane – inside, you’ll have the chance to not only take a moment with Mickey one-on-one, but you’ll also get to check out his Easter egg-filled backdrop, which is inspired by his scenes in Fantasia.
We particularly love this meet and greet spot because you won’t only get to see Mickey; you’ll also get a photo and character encounter with Minnie Mouse, too. Before you head into Mickey’s room, you’ll meet with Minnie. It’s one (usually brief) wait for two of the most popular characters! As an added perk, you can even nab a Genie+ reservation for this meet and greet, slashing your wait time even further on busy days.
You’ll also find a character dining opportunity in Disney’s Hollywood Studios over at Hollywood & Vine. Here, for lunch and dinner (but not breakfast!), Mickey will join Minnie and other characters during Minnie’s Seasonal Dining. Depending on what season you’re visiting, it’s a great chance to catch Mickey in Halloween, Christmas, or other limited-time attire.
Where to Find Mickey at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
When you visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you’ll have the chance to meet both Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, just like at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The iconic duo greets Guests at Adventurers Outpost on Discovery Island.
At this meet and greet, you can see Mickey (and Minnie) in a unique outfit: some very on-theme safari gear. We also love that you can grab a Genie+ reservation here, which can help you save time and score a shorter wait – though lines here aren’t usually too long.
Additionally, there’s one other opportunity to meet Mickey Mouse in Animal King. He’s part of the gang of characters who appear during the character dining at Tusker House, so you can easily enjoy a buffet meal and see Mickey one-on-one. It’s also a great spot to see Donald, Goofy, and Daisy (and everyone is in their safari best!).
Other Opportunities to See Mickey Mouse
In addition to catching Mickey Mouse at the above meet and greet spots and theme park character dining destinations, there are plenty of other opportunities to see the head mouse himself when visiting Disney World. While a one-on-one meet and greet encounter is always ideal, you can also catch Mickey in parades, shows, nighttime spectaculars, and even at character dining experiences resort-wide.
