We’ve got details on the cost of Individual Lightning Lanes (formerly called Individual Attraction Selections) at Walt Disney World … and which rides are pay-to-play.
For the price of just $15 per person per day, you’ll be able to cut the long lines on almost 50 rides across the four parks using Lightning Lanes. For that price, you’ll get to book a Lightning Lane for one attraction at a time; alternatively, you can book a second Lightning Lane 2 hours after booking your previous attraction (if still unused).

But on top of that, Disney is debuting the Individual Lightning Lane component of Disney Genie, also on Oct. 19; when this service debuted in August, Disney had branded it as “Individual Attraction Selections.” With this service, you can pay for up to two rides a day for use of Lightning Lane at a specific time for the most popular rides at Disney World.
Note: Disneyland will do things a little differently, and the cost is $25 per day.
Disney World Individual Lightning Lane Rides List

Some Lightning Lane rides aren’t available through Genie+. For these, you’ll use Individual Lightning Lanes.
So what rides are offered as Individual Attractions? Two rides at most parks, with three at EPCOT:
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Frozen Ever After
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Space Mountain
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Avatar Flight of Passage
Expedition Everest
On May 31, 2022, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will also be available as a Lightning Lane attraction.
That means, no matter which park you’re in, you’ll have at least two rides to burn your two Individual Lightning Lanes (previously Individual Attraction Selections) on each day.

Sure, you can buy two a la carte Lightning Lane passes on the most popular rides, on top of your Genie+ service, but how much do Individual Lightning Lanes cost, and will it be worth it?
The answer: The cost of Individual Lightning Lanes varies by ride, day, and other Disney algorithm variables. So all we really know is the price for Individual Lightning Lanes (in old Disney speak, the cost of Individual Attraction Selections) will fluctuate, which is hard for some of us hardcore budget planners (aka me) to stomach.
Our editorial director got a preview of Individual Lightning Laness the day before their debut and was able to compare prices for a few rides on two different days. Here’s what she found:
Rise of Resistance Individual Lightning Lane Price
- Tuesday, Oct. 19: $15
- Saturday, Oct. 23: $15
Expedition Everest Individual Lightning Lane Price
- Tuesday, Oct. 19: $7
- Saturday, Oct. 23: $7
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Individual Lightning Lane Price
- Tuesday, Oct. 19: $9
- Saturday, Oct. 23: $11
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Individual Lightning Lane Price
- Tuesday, Oct. 19: $10
- Saturday, Oct. 23: $12
And keep in mind that those prices are per person. So for a family of four to get Lightning Lane Access to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train just once could cost $48 or more.
