Can I tell you a secret? I’ve always known Disney Cruise Line was the world’s BEST cruise line—but now I’ve got the receipts to prove it.
Today, Disney announced that Travel + Leisure readers have ranked Disney Cruise Line (DCL) as the World’s Best Cruise Line for this year. More specifically, DCL was named the Top Mega-Ship Ocean Cruise Line in Travel + Leisure’s readers’ survey, the results of which yielded the magazine’s World’s Best Awards 2021.
“I know just how much hard work goes into earning these accolades, and I couldn’t be prouder of our cast and crew members,” said Thomas Mazloum, president of Disney Cruise Line.
Rating the World’s Best Cruise Line
In determining the winner for best cruises, readers ranked various cruise lines on staterooms, entertainment, food, service, shore excursions, and overall itineraries. Disney Cruise Line came out on top.
This has obviously been a challenging year and a half for Disney Cruise Line and cruises everywhere. Though sailings have picked back up for DCL, itineraries continue to be revised or entire cruises cancelled as necessary for the safety of passengers, Cast Members, and residents of ports of call.
Despite the issues cruise lines have been up against, Disney Cruise Line is sailing forward (see what I did there?), with plans to make its maiden voyage in the Disney Wish in June of next year.
