Here’s your round-up of December 2022 Disney World refurbishments for closed attractions and resorts.

If you’re planning on visiting Walt Disney World (WDW) in December, you’ll want to know what isn’t going to be up and running during your trip.

But you won’t have to guess what’ll be open and temporarily closed in December! Each month, we compile a list of everything scheduled to undergo refurbishment in the month ahead.

EPCOT Festival of the Holidays is in full swing, so make sure you jingle your bells down to WDW in December and drink up that festive cheer (and plenty of hot chocolate).

Walt Disney World Railroad: TRON Lightcycle / Run is still in the testing phase, but there’s hope that WDW Railroad will be back in action by Christmas.

The Chapeau: The Chapeau will be reopening sometime in 2023.  Box Office Gifts at the Town Square Theater is where you’ll find your mouse ears and Bonjour! Village Gifts is the spot for artwork and souvenirs in December and until the doors open again.

Rides close often for regular service and maintenance, so any unexpected closures will likely only last for a short while. If nothing else, it’s just another excuse to come back and experience the magic again.
