Embark on a chilly adventure. Get the Blizzard Beach Park reopening date this November and find out when to visit this icy retreat…

Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom aren’t the only “cool” places you can visit while on vacation at Disney World. Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is a popular destination when you are looking to chill.

Guests can rejoice that Disney’s Blizzard Beach Park will be reopening on November 13th and will feature some new Arctic adventures. These include attractions and treats that will thaw a frozen heart.

While you might think that Disney’s Blizzard Beach Park is small, there are a ton of ways to chill out and let off some steam. Learn all the things you can do at this returning favorite.

When Disney’s Blizzard Beach Park reopens on November 13th, guests can expect some classic favorites, new “Frozen” additions, and some holiday touches.

Picture the “Frozen Fractals All Around” in Tike’s Peak, the kids-sized thrill area. From mini slides and attractions to Anna and Elsa’s Igloo Castle and Olaf and his Snowgie friends at the wading pool, there’s tons of fun to be had.

Spreading Holiday Cheer is easy with the new limited-time food and beverage offerings at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Resort. Items such as the Orange Bird DOLE Whip Cone and the Peppermint Milkshake will be available through December 31st. In addition to delicious treats, you can immerse yourself in the merry with snowfall, holiday music, festive inner tubes, and even Santa dressed in his tropical best.

Besides holiday treats, look for some new and returning treats. Items like Cajun Shrimp and Grits and Watta-Melon Passion Lemonade will make their debut on November 13th. If you love the seasonal DOLE Whip, the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, and the 50th Ice Cream Sand Pail Sundae, then you’re in luck because those will be returning.

Plunging Down the Summit Plummet is another choice for those who are adventure seekers! While Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is often thought as the fastest attraction at WDW, it’s actually not! Mount Rushmore’s near-vertical drop is the tallest and fastest free fall body slide.

If it’s the relaxation you are after, then the Polar Patio is the spot for you. Rent a private patio with comfortable seating and refillable drink mugs for a break from the fun.

Grab the family and head to Teamboat Springs. This whitewater raft adventure features twists and turns, rapids, and drenching sprays.

Competitive guests should head to the Toboggan Races. The course is filled with drops, hills, and competition to see who takes 1st place

Rapid doesn’t just describe the speed but also all the fun you can have at Mount Gushmore on one of the three slides with twists and turns along the way.

Looking for a view of some scenic mountains… in Florida? Embark on a journey to the top of Mount Gushmore on a Colorful Chairlift. Besides offering some amazing views, you’ll be able to easily access all of the popular park attractions.

Once Disney’s Blizzard Beach opens on November 13th, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Park will close for refurbishment. Don’t forget to have an “icy day” when you visit Blizzard Beach.
