The Disney Cruise Line has once again temporarily suspended all departures from 2021 through June.
On Tuesday, April 6, Disney Cruise Line announced the extension of the suspensions for all 2021 departures through this June, along with Disney Magic European sailings from Barcelona, Dover, and Copenhagen through Sept. 18, 2021.
They also released the same statement that’s accompanied past announcements of Disney Cruise Line suspensions.
The statement reads in part: “Our team at Disney Cruise Line remains focused on the health and well-being of our Guests and team members. We are carefully reviewing the recently released guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and working toward resuming operations.”
Here’s what else you need to know if you’re affected by this news.

While we still aren’t sure when Disney Cruise Line sailings will resume, you can currently book cruises for summer 2022.
“While we prepare for a return to sea just as soon as the time is right, we continue to look to the future and develop more cruising options for families,” Thomas Mazloum, president of Disney Cruise Line, said in a statement shared on Disney Parks Blog in March.
There’s are a bunch of different itineraries, including destinations in the Mediterranean and Greek Isles, Europe and the British Isles, The Bahamas, the Caribbean and Alaska.
And, for the first summer ever, families can embark from Miami on select tropical adventures. You can check the full list and summer 2022 dates on the Disney Cruise Line website.
As always, we’ll let you know if or when more suspensions are announced.
