Hong Kong Disneyland Christmas is coming with bright cheer for all. Learn what that means about your visit to the resort for the holidays. 

Are you a lover of all things Christmas? Well, you are in luck! Starting November 18, 2022, through January 2, 2023, the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has launched a new seasonal experience, “A Disney Christmas.”

Hong Kong Disneyland Christmas

Sounds always get people into the holiday spirit and you will be totally immersed in the season thanks to the all-new, “Disney Live in Concert! Holiday Music Celebration,” which takes place on select nights. Fans of all music types will find something they love from jazz to classical. 

In addition to the music, other entertainment options include the “Mickey and Friends Christmas Time Ball,” where you’ll see Duffy’s new friend, LinaBell for the first time, “Santa Goofy’s Magical Snowfall,” and a returning favorite, “A Holiday Wish-Come-True Tree Lighting Ceremony” on Main Street, U.S.A. One lucky guest will be invited to lead the event. How cool! 

What’s a Disney park without a nighttime spectacular? “Momentous,” the park’s multisensory show will end the night on a high note. Another event includes “Community’s Got Talent” which will feature 12 local community choirs and groups. 

Picture Perfect

Aside from seeing your family, what better time to see your favorite characters than during the holiday season? Join Duffy and his friends at the all-new, “Duffy and Friends Winter Wonderland,” where you’ll see your favorites decked out in their winter outfits. You’ll also get to meet LinaBell and share in her first Christmas. Be sure to bring your own Duffy and Friends plush to the park and take photos at the “fans-tasy” photo locations. 

Grab your camera for a “Wish Upon a Star” Photo Moment, which happens in front of the castle and includes members of the Duffy family. The fun doesn’t stop there. You’ll be able to have meet and greet sessions with Disney Friends, such as Angel from Lilo & Stitch who will join Santa Stitch in Tomorrowland, and Santa Goofy and Santa Mickey at the Annex on Main Street U.S.A.

#Eatertainment 

There are tons of opportunities to try some delicious treats and meals around Hong Kong Disneyland. From a traditional holiday meal at Main Street Corner Cafe Hosted by Coca-Cola®, to authentic Cantonese cuisine at the Plaza Inn Hosted by Jade Garden, there are options abound. Offers include admission to special viewing areas where eating and entertainment collide, #eatertainment. 

Enjoy unique treats like the “Musical Rotating Christmas Popcorn Tin” or the “Duffy and Friends Christmas Dessert Lollipops.” There is also an exclusive soft-serve ice cream and a star-shaped brownie featuring Duffy and Friends. 

Santa’s List 

Santa’s list this year includes the “Duffy Winter” series, a vintage “Mickey Family” series or the colorful “Pixar Holidays” series. The merchandise doesn’t stop there. Souvenirs can include things like special PhotoPass postcards and snowglobes to keep the memories alive. 

Why not help someone in need while enjoying a fun souvenir? Purchase a “Wish Upon a Star” Cushion Blanket featuring Duffy and Friends. For each cushion sold, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will contribute HK$50 to Make-a-Wish Hong Kong. You can also send someone a Holiday Wishes Charity Postcard. Purchase stamps and mail them at the mailbox at City Hall and “Operation Santa Claus” in Hong Kong will receive all of the profits. 

Sparkle all the Way 

The “Black Friday Hotel Flash Sale” kicks off with rates as low as 40% off flexible rates at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel or the Explorers Lodge. Christmas activities are everywhere at the resorts and include a “Disney Gingerbread House Making Class.” Plus, you can purchase a “Sparkle all the Way” Christmas room package. 

Extra (Christmas) Magic

Now through January 16, 2023, guests can double their fun by visiting the park two times for only HK$759. Add-ons include the “Disney Premier Access- Momentous,’ 8 Attractions and 2 Shows.” For even more magic, guests can purchase the “Momentous” and Disney Christmas Tour Package.
