Annual Passholders, Act Now If You Want to Ride TRON Lightcycle / Run First!

Walt Disney World’s newest – and most highly-anticipated – new coaster is opening early for Annual Passholder previews. Get online now and secure your spot by registering for one of these limited previews!

If you’ve been dying to experience the all-new TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction at Magic Kingdom Park, the wait is almost over. The coaster will open on April 4, 2023 – but if you happen to have a valid Walt Disney World Annual Pass, you can get on the ride before then! Register for an Annual Passholder preview, and you can ride TRON Lightcycle / Run early!

Passholders can register for a preview date and time at this link. You’ll need to join the virtual queue (and be prepared to wait – as of 10 a.m. this morning, the wait was more than an hour). For more details on registering and what your preview will entail, check your email. All WDW Annual Passholders should have received an email notifying them of the opportunity to register!

How to Get a Passholder Preview for TRON Lightcycle / Run

Whether you’re on your smartphone or a computer, visit this link (or check your email for a Walt Disney World email that contains a preview registration link). Once there, you’ll have a spot in the virtual queue to score a preview date and time. Make sure to keep this window open, and don’t refresh the page!

When it’s your turn to enter the booking window – don’t worry, the queue will count it down for you so you know when you’re about to enter! – you’ll be able to select a date for your preview. You will have 5 minutes to select and book your spot once you’re in! Annual Passholder previews will take place from March 4 to 6 and March 8 to 10, 2023. If you’re able to register for a preview, you’ll only see the remaining available dates when your chance to enter the booking window begins.

Keep in mind, though, that TRON Lightcycle / Run previews are limited, and being in the queue doesn’t guarantee you a spot.

The Fine Print

It’s important to note that if you try to register for a TRON Lightcycle / Run Passholder preview on a date that your Annual Pass type is blocked out, your registration will be automatically canceled. Make sure you’re not blocked out before you actually get into the nitty gritty of booking your spot!

When you arrive for your TRON Lightcycle / Run preview, you’ll need a valid ID and your Annual Pass, plus either a printed or digital confirmation of your preview registration. Oh, and before you go and make a park reservation for the date of your preview, Disney will handle the reservation for you! Once your Annual Passholder preview spot is secured, a park reservation will automatically be made for you for Magic Kingdom Park and added to your My Disney Experience account or app.

Additionally, you cannot modify your registration once you snag a preview. That means you’ll want to have any Guest names ready before booking (and spelled correctly). Don’t forget to note the date and time, too, just to make sure you can make your preview date.
