Disney has released new concept art for World of Frozen, coming to Hong Kong Disneyland later this year in November 2023.
We’re just months away from the opening of the first-ever Frozen-themed land at a Disney Park! The World of Frozen will open in November 2023 at Hong Kong Disneyland, drawing inspiration from both Frozen and Frozen 2. Guests will be invited to a Summer Snow Day celebration, commemorating the day that Anna saved Elsa with an act of trule love. And Disney just released brand new concept art for several parts of the land to give us a closer look at what we can expect from the World of Frozen!
Frozen Ever After Concept Art
The World of Frozen will feature two rides: Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, and Frozen Ever After. Frozen Ever After will be the same ride concept as the attraction in EPCOT, with guests embarking on a journey to Elsa’s Ice Palace as part of the Summer Snow Day celebration.
Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs Concept Art
Disney also released more concept art for Wander Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, which will be a brand new Frozen-themed coaster you won’t find anywhere else in the world. In the story, the coaster was built by Wandering Oaken himself. He’s enlisted Olaf and Sven to power the attraction as they work together to pull the sleds to the top of the hill.
Before getting on the coaster, you’ll go through a queue where you can spot Oaken in his Sauna, similar to the queue for Frozen Ever After in EPCOT.
Golden Crocus Inn Concept Art
Disney also shared concept art for a restaurant coming to World of Frozen, Golden Crocus Inn! Named after the national symbol of Arendelle, this is a restaurant that Disney calls “one of the most popular spots in town for Arendellians.” It’s a spot where the people of Arendelle meet for parties and celebrations, enjoying the “delicious and diverse cuisine.” Yum!
While they didn’t share a concept art image, Disney also shared a little more information on Northern Delights, which will feature a selection fo candy and frozen treats. Named after Arendelle’s Northern Lights, this is where Anna and Elsa order their favorite desserts.
Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles Concept Art
Pick up some Frozen merchandise at the gift shop Tick Tock Toys & Collectibles. This charming shop is operated by a wood carve and his wife and is the place to go for toys, keepsakes, collectibles, and even carved depictions of your favorite Frozen characters!
Interactive Experience at the Playhouse Concept Art
Finally, Disney shared a preview of the Playhouse. Found within the forest, “he doors of Anna and Elsa’s childhood Playhouse have been opened” in celebration of Summer Snow Day. At the Playhouse, you can enjoy a unique interactive play experience.
