We’re sharing a full tour of a ‘Princess and the Frog’-themed Disney Wish Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with a Verandah.
When you’re sailing on the Disney Wish, you have several different types of stateroom that you can choose from. There are Verandah Staterooms, Concierge Staterooms, and Royal Suites, all with various theming and types aboard the Disney Wish. We’re sharing a full tour from our time staying in a Princess and the Frog-themed Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with a Verandah aboard the Disney Wish.
Touring The Princess and the Frog Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms On the Disney Wish
One of the first things you will notice in your stateroom is a spacious closet, which includes a lighted-up hanging area complete with hangers. Next to the hanging space, there is another small section with a set of shelves to store other clothes or shoes. The closet also has a locked safe, a laundry bag, and life jackets in case of emergencies.

But what’s nice about these staterooms specifically is that there is a second closet with a ton more hanging space for clothes. Again, this space includes automatic lights as well.
Like in a majority of the other staterooms, in the Disney Wish Princess and the Frog Stateroom, Guests will have a split bathroom – one bathroom with a shower/tub and vanity sink and one bathroom with a toilet and vanity sink. Plus, the bathroom with the toilet also has shelves, allowing for you to store toiletries such as deodorant, perfume, makeup, etc.

One of the most unique things about these bathrooms is there are two light options – the main light and the night light. The main light comes from the top of the room while the night light only lights up from the floor, meaning that if you want to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you can use the night light to be able to see without waking others in the room with the bright main light. Guests can also use the night light as exactly that – a night light – to allow for small lighting, so the room is not pitch black.

On the shower side, Guests will find a full tub shower, which is a nice touch because many of the other staterooms include a smaller tub and a lower ceiling, which can be quite uncomfortable for some people.
The Princess and the Frog Touches In The Stateroom
But why are these staterooms referred to as the Princess and the Frog rooms? Well, there are several touches from the 2009 film that are scattered throughout the room. For starters, above the queen-sized bed, you will see a beautiful portrait featuring Tiana and Naveen on the day of their wedding in the bayou. This gorgeous painting is certainly a highlight of the room as the fireflies in the portrait actually light up! The depth within this painting is just stunning and memorizing.

Both sides of the bed have a reading light and a regular bedside lamp as well as nightstands, which include a small drawer for small things like glasses or your book. There are also two regular chargers and two USB ports so you can charge any of your devices overnight. In the living space, Guests will find another “Princess and the Frog”-themed portrait, this time featuring Princess Tiana, which sits above the sleeper sofa.

Amenities in this area include a 43″ LCD flat-screen TV with remote control, a mini fridge, a hair dryer, a vanity – complete with a mirror and more drawers – as well as a small coffee table. Plus, between the queen bed and the sleeper sofa, Guests will find a privacy curtain, which is perfect for families with different sleep schedules.

Above the sofa, Guests will also find the upper berth pull-down bed, allowing for another sleeping space for families.
Enjoying The View From Your Private Verandah
But one of the best parts about this Stateroom is the private verandah! Open the glass door at the end of your stateroom and you will step out onto your very own private deck, which includes patio furniture – two patio chairs and a small glass table – as well as patio lighting.

Guest can choose to start their day off with a cup of coffee or end their day with a bottle of wine all while taking in the views and sounds of the ocean.
