There’s a lot of new things to see at the 2020 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, here’s our quick glance at what there is to see at this year’s Festival!

Everything in 2020 is a little different and that is true about the Festival of the Holidays here at EPCOT.

Although there are new food offerings, promenades, and entertainment, I still miss the Candlelight Processional and the traditional Santas in all the countries.

Let’s take a look at some of the highlights from this year’s event!

Delicious International Food Options

Food is definitely the focal point of this year’s festival. Four new booths were added and with them many new treats and drinks!

Mele Kalikimaka is one of the new booths. You can find this booth across from the bathrooms and Starbucks before entering the World Showcase.

The Kalua Pork with purple sweet potatoes and mango salad looks absolutely delicious.

There is also a Lomi Lomi Salmon and Haupia, Hawaiian coconut pudding available. Of course there are some spirited beverages including a sparkling pineapple wine.

Holiday Hearth is the other new booth for 2020. This is all sweets, and they’re all great!

The red velvet mini bundt cake with cream cheese frosting is my personal favorite but the Spaceship Earth shortbread with a salted caramel filling is close behind.

I’m hoping to try the peppermint bark next time I’m in the park!

And how adorable are these Mickey tarts?!

The Christmas log from France has also been updated. The chocolate cake is now filled with a dark chocolate caramel ganache.

And, of course, the famous cookie stroll is back!

Other favorites from me have been this giant tostada from Las Posadas in Mexico…

… and these house-made crab and cheese wontons from the Shanghai Holiday Kitchen at the China Pavilion.

No doubt the food, treats, and drinks have been a highlight of the festival, but there is so much more to explore!

Holiday-Themed Promenades

Santa has his own promenade pulled by beautiful horses and fun elf dancers!

Anna and Elsa continue to venture around the World Showcase as well. These promenades are not scheduled but usually begin close to park opening and end before dark.

NEW Chip and Dale Merch

I’m absolutely loving all of the new Chip and Dale merchandise available for the 2020 Festival of the Holidays.

The cookie jar makes me smile and the spirit jersey with the really soft, fuzzy lower half is perfect for the Florida winter chill.

The MagicBand and ornament are fun too. I want them all!

Entertainment Everywhere

Although the Candlelight Processional is not happening this year there are still many opportunities for entertainment as you walk around the world.

In the America Gardens Theatre, performers from Mariachi Cobre and Voices of Liberty take turns singing holiday tunes to the socially-distant crowds.

Inside the World Showplace, get ready to be wowed by the group Joyful! They sing a mix of traditional and contemporary songs representing a variety of celebrations.

Later in December they will also celebrate Kwanza!

The Jammitors have also been making audiences dance and laugh on the stage near the Canadian Pavilion.

Olaf Surprises

The World Showplace has been a fun place to enjoy food, entertainment, and merchandise. But these little photo op spots are also perfectly festive!

Olaf is also the center of this year’s scavenger hunt, Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition. You can buy a map and hunt for Olaf in all the pavilions as he shares countries’ traditions.

There’s so much to explore in a short time at this year’s Festival of the Holidays.

A festive ride overlay, decorations in the countries, socially-distant characters with their holiday best outfits, along with all the food, entertainment, and merchandise we’ve already explored.
