Discover the perks that come with booking a Club Level room at a Disney World hotel.
There’s plenty of magic to be found inside the resorts across Walt Disney World, from early theme park entry to special dining experiences to amenities that are as comfy as they are fun. With a wide variety of different room types, each of Disney World’s many hotels offer a lot of choices and even room customization. One of those options is a Club Level room, a hotel room that comes with access to Club Level, an exclusive area that offers some additional Disney magic.
This slightly mysterious room type offers Guests a variety of additional amenities and services – but it’s an area most people don’t ever get to see. Discover more about Club Level and what you get for it below.
What is Disney World’s Club Level?
Club Level is a room category that’s available at all of the Deluxe Disney Resorts, including Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. By booking a Club Level room, Guests have access to a literal Club Level at the resort, which is where you’ll find a designated lounge that offers different food, beverages, and other perks throughout the day.
What Walt Disney World Resorts Offer Club Level?
As we mentioned, all of the Deluxe Disney resorts have Club Level rooms, along with the Grand Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. You’ll notice that some of the resorts, depending on the size, will have more than one Club Level available for Guest access. Here’s a full list of the clubs:
- Atrium Club, Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Chronos Club, Disney’s Coronado Springs Gran Destino Tower
- Innkeeper’s Club, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
- Kilimanjaro Club, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- King Kamehameha Club, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

What’s Included with a Club Level Room?
Exclusive Check-In
Most of the time, Guests staying in a Club Level room will either check in at the front desk and then be escorted up to the Club Level concierge team or will immediately be whisked away upstairs to the concierge team for check-in. This all depends on your resort! But either way, you’ll get to be the special person on the elevator who gets to scan their Magic Band to enter the floor.
Lounge Access
One of the biggest perks of staying in a Club Level room is access to the Club Level lounge. At some resorts, Club Level rooms will be on the same floor as the lounge, which makes the walk just a few steps away.
You might be wondering, “What’s the big deal about a lounge?” Well, when you have access to a Club Level lounge, you’ll have access to food throughout the day and beverages, which include alcoholic options too. All of the lounges in Club Level offer some type of variation of snacks depending on time of day. These include a continental breakfast, light afternoon snack, hors d’oeuvres for dinner, and dessert. Usually, resorts will offer unique food themed to that resort specifically. For example, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, lunch or dinner offerings inside the lounge might come from Boma.
While the lounges advertise the items served as small hors d’oeuvres offerings, you could actually use them as full meal replacements, since there is no limit. Here’s an example of some items you can find to eat:
- Breakfast: Quiches, Bagels, Muffins, Waffles, Pastries
- Light Afternoon Snacks: Trail Mix, Chips, Fruit
- Dinner: Soups, Hot Offerings, Meats, Salads, Chicken Nuggets
- Desserts: Cupcakes, Cookies, Brownies, Cake
- Drink Choices: Coffee, Tea, Juice, Alcoholic Beverages (Beer, Wine, Cordials)
Dedicated Concierge Attention
When staying in a Club Level room at Walt Disney World, you’ll also get more personalized service. Guests receive a dedicated phone and text line, where they are able to work with a concierge staff member on things such as resort help, dining reservations, and more.
In addition to helping with dining reservations and resort information, the concierge team is also able to help with miscellaneous things, such as transportation. If you’re staying in a Club Level room and have a question, it doesn’t hurt to ask the team, since they are always willing and able to help.
Pricing for Walt Disney World Resorts’ Club Level
So with all of these benefits, you’re probably wondering how much extra a Club Level room and all of its perks costs. Well, this all depends on the resort you want to stay at. If you’re looking at the moderate option – Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs – it might be about $125 more than a regular room. However, a Club Level room’s cost can be almost a $450 difference at a resort like Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
Do keep in mind, though, that while the Gran Destino Tower is a great deal compared to a regular room, it is still part of a Moderate resort. This means you don’t get those early entry hours into the theme parks. So, in addition to overall cost, there are details of staying in a Club Level room that need to be weighed and decided based on what’s important to you and your family.
Is Club Level Worth It?
In my opinion, Club Level is awesome! This room type offers some great perks, most notably the lounge access with food, snacks, and drinks. When determining if it’s worth it, you need to consider how you and your family do Disney.
If you’re a family that gets reservations for each meal and likes to be out and about, a Club Level room doesn’t make sense. You will wind up paying for extra meals and perks you might not enjoy. If you’re a family that enjoys spending time at the resort, this could be a good option for you.
