Here’s the scoop on how you can celebrate New Year’s Eve at Walt Disney World!
How to Celebrate at Magic Kingdom Park
The most popular spot to celebrate any holiday at Walt Disney World is Magic Kingdom, and New Year’s Eve is no exception! This year, Frontierland and Tomorrowland will host special dance parties from 7:00 p.m. until midnight on December 30thand 31st. You can also catch the New Year’s Eve Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks shows on both nights at 6:30 p.m. and 11:50 p.m.
If you’re planning to visit Magic Kingdom (or any Walt Disney World park) on New Year’s Eve, please be aware that this is one of the busiest days of the year and the parks often reach capacity. We suggest arriving early to ensure you get entry to the park.
Fantasy in the Sky Live Stream
If you can’t make it to Magic Kingdom to ring in the new year, don’t worry! You can enjoy the celebrations from the comfort of your own home. #DisneyParksLIVE will be livestreaming the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks on December 31st at 11:45 p.m. on the Disney Parks Blog.
How to Celebrate at Epcot
Another popular spot to celebrate New Year’s Eve is Epcot! Ring in the New Year “Around the World” with lively dance parties and themed events all around World Showcase. As the clock strikes midnight in each country, visit the country’s respective pavilion for small countdown celebration.
And be sure to stop by the America Gardens Theatre for some live music!
For the grand finale, gather around the lagoon for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at 11:40 p.m., followed by a countdown and special New Year’s Eve celebration!
