Right now, during the pandemic, Disney has temporarily suspended all parades and character meet-and-greets at all parks. Instead, guests can see their favorite characters in short rides through the streets, called cavalcades. Let’s take a virtual look at the Magic Kingdom cavalcades!
Magic Kingdom Cavalcades
Each park has its own set of cavalcades that happen in various locations, with characters specific to the park.
At Magic Kingdom, the cavalcades go down Main Street, U.S.A., along the typical parade route. You can see:
- Mickey and Friends Cavalcade
- The Royal Princess Processional
- Fantasy Friends Cavalcade
- A Goofy Cavalcade
- Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure
The cavalcades don’t have a set time—they happen regularly (and often) throughout the day.
Mickey and Friends Cavalcade
The Mickey and Friends Cavalcade of course showcases Mickey and Minnie Mouse—and they’re in their party outfits!
They are accompanied by Pluto and Donald and Daisy.
Goofy gets his own cavalcade later on!
At the end, the video shows all the characters on the Train Station waving to guests.
The Royal Princess Processional
The Royal Princess Processional begins with Merida riding down Main Street on a horse.
She is followed by a float with Tiana and Rapunzel. After that, a giant float holds Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Elena of Avalor, Jasmine, Snow White, Cinderella, and the Fairy Godmother.
Fantasy Friends Cavalcade
Fantasy Friends Cavalcade is some of our favorite Fantasyland characters.
This video begins with a performance from the Main Street Philharmonic, which you can still see at Magic Kingdom!
Check out Gaston riding on a horse, followed by Alice, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Aladdin, Mary Poppins, and Tigger!

A Goofy Cavalcade
Not only will you get to see Goofy, but also Clarabelle Cow, Max Goof, and José Carioca and Panchito Pistoles of The Three Caballeros.
At the end, like in Mickey & Friends, all the characters stand atop the train station and wave and interact with guests from afar!
Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure
See Tinker Bell ride down Main Street in this cavalcade!
There’s still so much magic to experience at Disney World!
