What to Expect at Disney Enchantment

As you probably know by now, Disney Enchantment is one of two new nighttime spectaculars coming to WDW on Oct. 1. The companion show, EPCOT’s Harmonious, is shaping up to be an incredible experience with a powerful message behind it.
Up until now, Disney hadn’t spilled its beans about the new nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom. Oh, but dear reader, consider those beans spilled—sauce and all.
Disney Enchantment will be the first nighttime spectacular to extend the spectacle down Main Street, U.S.A. In addition to the breathtaking fireworks display in the sky above Cinderella Castle, you’ll also see cutting-edge projections and lighting all down Main Street.
The show incorporates characters from the Disney and Pixar movies you know and love. Disney dropped some names to tease out the excitement, including the likes of Moana, Tiana, Luca, and Wreck-It Ralph. And what would a nighttime spectacular be without Tinker Bell?
And behind the incredible visuals, you’ll hear “You Are the Magic,” an original song from seven-time Grammy-winner Philip Lawrence.

Disney Life Entertainment Show Director Mark Renfrow says that Disney Enchantment continues the 50-year tradition of raising the bar with fireworks displays at WDW.
“Since opening day in 1971, dazzling fireworks shows have provided that perfect exclamation point at the end of a fantastic day at Magic Kingdom Park,” says Renfrow. “From Fantasy in the Sky and Wishes to holiday spectaculars and Happily Ever After, each new show has raised the bar, and the best is yet to come! I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’re creating with Disney Enchantment.”
When Disney’s talking about raising the bar, that’s reason enough to prick up your mouse ears. Disney Enchantment is shaping up to be a must-see, and it’s just one part of The World’s Most Magical Celebration kicking off on Oct. 1.
