Our editor’s top five picks for the best deals at shopDisney’s Twice Upon a Year Sale.

The Twice Upon a Year sale is happening NOW at shopDisney!

But don’t Kermit-flail with joy for too long because 40% off toys, clothes, accessories, and housewares means a LOT of the cutest picks are going to sell out fast.

There’s a LOT to look through, so here are my top 5 picks for the best deals and cutest summer styles that I know are going to sell out first.

1. Ariel Fashion Tote

I showed this tote to my husband and his response was very blasé… “Oh that’s definitely you.”

I guess rainbow iridescent is just part of my aesthetic these days, so no surprises were had around here when I announced how amazing I thought this bag was.

This thing looks like Rainbow Brite rose like a pheonix from the ashes of the 80s and made friends with Ariel, so that’s who I am now (???)

My only concern with this one would be the stitching on ribs, so careful when you’re stashing it away.

During the Twice Upon a Year Sale, the Ariel tote is priced at $24.98 (regularly $39.99).

2. R2D2 Personalized Beach Towel

Retro with an adorable droid? Yes, please. This R2D2 towel is now priced at $13.98 during the Twice Upon a Year Sale, down from the regular price of $16.99.

Personalization is $5.99 extra, which brings up the price, but I have to be candid here:

I bought personalized towels from shopDisney in 2008 for my family’s first-ever trip, and I actually just used that same Merida towel at the pool today.

These things were made to last. The personalization is embroidered, not printed, and in all our years of using these, the terrycloth material has not puckered around the embroidery after washing.

That’s why I love to see these go on sale.. they really are a good purchase, especially as gifts for upcoming trips to WDW.

If you aren’t into Star Wars (I still love you, it’s cool, I guess..) other beach towel designs are on sale from $12.98 to $13.98.

3. Mickey and Minnie Tropical Cooler Tote

The new tropical Mickey and Minnie line from shopDisney (and available at the parks!) is one of my favorite to date.

Maybe I’m a little biased because I grew up in Ohio and moved to Florida… my house might be covered in flamingos and palm fronds… Even if you’re not as far gone as I am about tropical print, you gotta admit that this is a great summer motif.

This bag was regularly $24.99, but during the Twice Upon a Year Sale, the tropical tote is $16.00 with any purchase (while supplies last!)

The matching tropical beach towel is also available for $14 with any purchase (regularly $22.99).

These are TOP of my list for the items that will definitely sell out during this sale, so get movin’ if you want one.

4. Just Add Waves Tank Top

I love subtle nods to Disney characters in clothing, and this shirt has just the kind of hidden Mickey that helps me identify Disney fans in the wild.

You know you’ve met a fellow Disney-obsessed fan if they can spot a hidden Mickey!

This tank is regularly $36.99, now $29.98 on shopDisney.

5. Ursula and Evil Witch Office Mugs

OK, we know some of you have been eyeballing these mugs since they came out last fall!

These mugs perfectly capture those sometimes-wicked office feels. Hey, it’s just a reality.

They are sadly out of the Maleficent mug that appropriately complains about long meetings, but you can still get your inner villain/Dwight Schrute on with the Evil Witch and Ursula, who have, in my opinion, very valid gripes.

Get the Evil Witch mug here, or get the Ursula Mug here.
