TRON Coaster Sees Progress – First Support Columns Installed!

by | May 20, 2019 | WDW Blog

Disney reached another milestone on the TRON coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom – the first steel support columns have been installed!

These supports will serve as the framework for the roller coaster attraction in Tomorrowland. Progress continues to move forward as Imagineers, cast members, and project teams work hard on the coaster.

As a part of Disney tradition, cast members signed one of the very first steel support columns that was installed at the TRON coaster.

According to Disney Parks Blog, “The TRON attraction is based on the guest-favorite attraction TRON Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disneyland. This coaster-style attraction will allow riders to board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles for a thrilling race through the digital frontier.”
