3. Discounts add a tremendous amount of value into your purchase of the Disney Vacation Club timeshare program.  Your Disney Vacation Club Membership can save you a bundle on various WDW dining experiences, shopping destinations, resort rooms outside DVC locations, select Annual Passes and various recreation/entertainment offerings.  For a list of the available discounts throughout WDW for DVC Members, which are of course subject to change, click here.

2. Other destinations outside WDW accept DVC points for members to visit.  Besides the nine DVC resorts in Walt Disney World, there is one DVC resort just outside Disneyland in California (Villas at Grand Californian), and one in each of the following locations: Oahu, Hawaii, Vero Beach, Florida, and Hilton Head, South Carolina.  DVC points can also be used for Disney Resorts (not Villas), Adventures by Disney (offering destinations around the world), Disney Cruise Line and many more.

Disney Vacation Club doesn’t just provide the opportunity for members to stay at these resorts and locations, it also gives access to exclusive areas inside WDW for guests to enjoy.  One of the most highly acclaimed DVC Member-only areas in WDW is the Top of the World Lounge.  This is located on the top floor of Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.  Here, you’ll be able to enjoy adult beverages while looking out at a spectacular view of Magic Kingdom.  See more on the Top of the World Lounge here.  Another massively anticipated Member-only lounge is coming Spring 2016 to the long-abandoned second floor of the Imagination Pavilion in EPCOT!  What was formerly the old ImageWorks will be transformed to an amenity-stocked, relaxing space just for DVC Members.

1. BUNGALOW?  Becoming a Disney Vacation Club Member, in theory, brings you one step closer to an incredible, elusive, elaborate, unbelievably cool bungalow (at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows)!  What could be much more breathtaking than looking out at Cinderella Castle while taking a dip in your very own private Plunge Pool?  Of all the ways to show one’s pride of being a DVC Member (MagicBand slider, apparel, car magnet, pins, etc.), a selfie taken just as you check in to one of these covetable bungalows might be the ultimate way to do just that!
