Disney has shared details on how Annual Passholders and DVC members can register for early previews of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which will officially be opening on June 28, 2024.

We’re almost there! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disney World officially has an opening date, with the ride opening on June 28, 2024, in Magic Kingdom. But, if you’re an Annual Passholder or Disney Vacation Club member, your wait may not have to be that long. Disney has shared details on how Passholders, DVC members, and Florida Cast Members can register for early Tiana’s Bayou Adventure previews ahead of the official opening.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Passholder Previews Registration

Annual Passholders will be able to experience early previews for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18 and 20. So, how does it work? Instead of registering in advance, you will have your chance to join previews through a virtual queue. Here are the steps to take:

  • You’ll need to make a Park Pass Reservation for Magic Kingdom on a preview date to have the opportunity to join the 7 AM virtual queue for that day. Additionally, you’ll have the option to make a Park Pass for a different park for the opportunity to park hop and join the 1 PM virtual queue.
  • On the date of your reservation, you’ll have two opportunities to join each day of previews:
    • 7 AM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a reservation to Magic Kingdom for that day.
    • 1 PM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a reservation to any theme park. Passholders must enter the theme park where they have a reservation prior to visiting Magic Kingdom.Or, on June 13, 14, 17, 18, or 20, they can enter Magic Kingdom park without a reservation after 2 PM.
    • Passholders do not need to have entered a theme park when they request to join the virtual queue.

Blockout dates apply, so Passholders must have a Disney World Annual Pass with valid admission on the preview date. Joining the virtual queue also does not guarantee the ability to participate in the preview. Boarding groups are limited, subject to availability, and not guaranteed. You can learn more about virtual queues in our full guide.

When it opens on June 28, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be the first Disney ride to be themed to The Princess and the Frog. The ride will take guests on a musical adventure that picks up after the events of the movie. You’ll join Princess Tiana on an adventure through the bayou as she prepares to host a Mardi Gras celebration. Along the ride, you’ll spot familiar characters and also get the chance to hear original music alongside songs from the film. And, of course, the ride will feature the 50-foot drop Splash Mountain riders remember!

When Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially opens, it will employ a virtual queue and will be an option for a Disney Genie+ selection. After its initial opening days, it will also have a standby queue available.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Previews for Disney Vacation Club Members

DVC Members can be among the first to preview (and ride!) Tiana’s Bayou Adventure thanks to a special sneak peek offered by Disney just for eligible members. Previews for DVC Members will take place on two dates:

  • Wednesday, June 12 (from 1 PM to 4 PM)
  • Wednesday, June 19 (from 9 AM to 12 PM)

How do the DVC Member previews for this new attraction work? Well, you’ll need to register for one of the above dates. Here’s how that process will go:

  • Event registration opens Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 10 AM (Eastern time)
  • DVC Members will receive a registration link via email (or you can check the News & Alerts section on DisneyVacationClub.com)

Pre-registration is required in order to join this special event. Spaces will fill up fast, so you’ll need to act quickly on May 16. You can make one reservation for yourself (as a DVC Member) and the number of guests on your resort reservation as of May 12, 2024.

All DVC Members who are eligible for Membership Extras benefits can participate in the preview, though you will need a qualifying Disney Resort reservation via your membership to attend. You and all of the guests in your party must have a theme park reservation and admission for Magic Kingdom Park for the day of the preview.
