Thomas Mazloum has been announced as the replacement for Disney Experiences, Chairman taking over the role from forthcoming CEO Josh D’Amaro.

The Walt Disney Company has announced a major leadership transition within its theme parks and experiences division. Thomas Mazloum will succeed Josh D’Amaro (soon to be CEO of The Walt Disney Company) as Chairman of Disney Experiences, leading the company’s global portfolio of theme parks, cruise ships, resort hotels, adventures and expeditions, consumer products, and Walt Disney Imagineering.

Who Is Thomas Mazloum?

Before joining Disney, Mazloum built his career in European luxury hospitality, working across high-end hotels in food and beverage, guest services, and hotel operations. He later became Chief Operating Officer of Crystal Cruises, where he helped drive service excellence, transform organizational culture, and launch new travel ventures.

Mazloum eventually joined Walt Disney World Resort and rose through the leadership ranks. He later served as President of Disney Signature Experiences, where he developed a long-term strategic growth plan that included doubling the size of the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

That expansion recently included the launch of the Disney Adventure in Singapore (the cruise line’s eighth ship and its first homeported in Asia), helping expand Disney Cruise Line into new international markets.

Most recently, Mazloum served as President of Disneyland Resort, overseeing the operation of two theme parks, three resort hotels, and the Downtown Disney District during the resort’s 70th anniversary celebration.

More Disney Experiences Leadership Changes Announced

Alongside Mazloum’s appointment, Disney Experiences announced several additional leadership changes across the division. All of the newly appointed leaders will report directly to Mazloum. Transitions for all the roles (including Mazloum) will be effective March 18, 2026.

Jill Estorino Named President of Disneyland Resort

A 35-year Disney veteran, Estorino most recently served as President of Disney Parks International. In that role, she oversaw operations, expansion, and development at parks around the world, including Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Tokyo Disney Resort.

Earlier in her career, Estorino also served as Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales for Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, where she helped lead the grand opening of Shanghai Disney Resort. In her new role, Estorino will guide Disneyland Resort through its next phase of growth while continuing to focus on brand stewardship, guest experience, and cast culture.

Tasia Filippatos Named President, Disney Parks International

Filippatos most recently served as President of Disney Consumer Products, where she led the business through a transformation driven by innovation and global brand partnerships. Her leadership covered a wide-ranging portfolio including products, park merchandise, retail, publishing, and games. In her new role, Filippatos will oversee the operations, expansion, and development of Disney’s international parks, as well as Disney’s newest theme park project in Abu Dhabi developed in partnership with Miral.

Lisa Baldzicki Named President, Disney Consumer Products

Baldzicki most recently served as Head of Parks Product Development & Retail, where she led merchandising strategy and product experiences across Disney’s domestic theme parks. In her new role, she will oversee the continued evolution of Disney’s global consumer products business, including the world’s largest licensing program, which spans more than 100 product categories across over 180 countries.
