Get ready for all-new adventures at sea with Disney Cruise Line’s next incredible ship: the Disney Adventure!
Disney Cruise Line will welcome another ship to its growing fleet soon, and we’ve been eagerly waiting to hear more about its travels, its design, and its name. We finally have some news: The next Disney Cruise Line ship’s name has been revealed, and it’s the Disney Adventure.
Thomas Mazloum, Disney Cruise Line President, revealed the name of the ship at the Destination D23 Event in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on Saturday, September 9.
Designed to evoke the spirit of exploration, the Disney Adventure will carry Guests on fantastical voyages, blending adventure with the beloved stories of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. It’ll be a brand-new opportunity to experience different corners within the vast Disney world (and beyond, of course!).
We don’t know much about the Disney Adventure just yet, but we’ do know that you can expect the same level of detail and magic that are present on board other Disney Cruise Line ships and sailings. There will be plenty of spaces and exciting experiences aboard the Disney Adventure inspired by fantasy, discovery, and, well, adventure! From dazzling entertainment to world-class dining to impeccable guest service, it’ll feature all of the hallmarks you know and love about Disney Cruise Line.
Where Will the Disney Adventure Sail?
In addition to the reveal of the Disney Adventure’s name, Disney also shared that this cruise ship will set sail in Southeast Asia.
Disney Cruise Line is partnering with the Singapore Tourism Board on a collaboration to homeport the Disney Adventure exclusively in Singapore for at least five years starting in 2025. This will be the debut of Disney Cruise Line in Southeast Asia, and Singapore was chosen because of its strategic location. Centrally located as a hub in Southeast Asia, and with strong port infrastructure, Singapore is the perfect place for the Disney Adventure to welcome Guests from around the world.
When Will the Disney Adventure Set Sail?
We don’t know just yet when this new Disney Cruise Line ship will take to the sea, but work is already underway! The Disney Adventure is currently in construction – the 208,000-gross-ton ship is expected to be completed at the MV Werften shipyard in Wismar, Germany (which is under the management of the famed Meyer Werft shipyard).
We’ll keep you updated about a future maiden voyage date, as well as everything we learn about onboard experiences and sailing itineraries, as soon as we learn more! In the meantime, you can learn more about another new Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Treasure, below:
