The Grand Cottage has returned to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, serving up plenty of spring-themed treats for guests to enjoy!
It’s beginning to look a lot like spring in Disney World! As we head further into March, Disney is beginning to bring back annual traditions — including The Grand Cottage at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. In celebration of Easter, each year the Grand Floridian hosts a pop-up treat stand, The Grand Cottage, in its lobby. Along with the adorable treats you can purchase, you can also find an impressive display of themed Easter Eggs in the lobby! We’re sharing a look at the menu, treats, Easter Eggs, and more that you can find at Disney’s Grand Floridian for the 2023 season!

You don’t have to be a guest staying at the Grand Floridian to enjoy — anyone can stop on by to pick up a few delicious seasonal treats! The menu includes a variety of spring-inspired goodies, and the pop-up shop is accompanied by an impressive Easter Egg display you won’t want to miss (keep reading to find out more!).

As for the menu, you can choose from an array of different treats, including Hot Cross Buns, a White Chocolate Bunny Pop, a Confetti Cake Lamb Pop, and more. Prices range from $4.50 all the way up to $50 for The Cottage Box, which contains an assortment of treats. While the shop itself is the same as last year’s, there were a couple of new additions to the menu this year, including the Peanut Butter Cereal Egg.

While you’re at the Grand Floridian, you won’t want to miss out on the impressive display of Easter Eggs, all themed and decorated with incredible detail. Each Easter Egg has its own specific theme, and you can find them on display in the main lobby.

We were on hand as the Cast Members “paraded” the Easter Eggs out to transfer them to their displays. It was an Easter Egg parade!

An example of some of the amazing work, including giant Easter Eggs themed after the Hayao Miyazaki film My Neighbor Totoro, along with a Main Street Electrical Theme-themed Egg, and a spring-inspired floral Mickey design.

The Walt Disney Egg features the current Cinderella Castle next to a blueprint of it with Walt Disney! To make it extra special, you’ll notice a Cast Member tag with Walt’s name on it to the rightside of the Egg. Next to that, we found an Easter Egg based on the movie Luca.

The artistry of the Disney Chefs is genuinely incredible. Just look at this giant Kevin from Up that was being worked on!

A new feature you’ll notice this year is the addition of a Pasty Artist on hand to paint an Easter Egg live! You can watch as a Pastry Artist demonstrates Cocoa Butter Painting to decorate the Easter Eggs. You can spot the incredible work being done in the picture above!
