Looking to pick up a festive drink in Disney Springs? Holiday beverages are here at The Edison– And they’re all showstoppers!
Cocktails and holidays go hand in hand, whether you’re hosting a party, sipping a hot toddy by the fire or creating festive mocktails for the whole family to enjoy. Sure, there are the usual go-to’s like spiked eggnog, mulled wine, or winter ales, but this holiday season, The Edison at Disney Springs has elevated their seasonal drinks into something really special.

Last week we had the opportunity to try three of the four holiday beverages that The Edison will feature on their menu for the season, and they are available to customers starting today: December 5, 2022! Let’s take a closer look at each festive sip…
The Cup ‘O Cheer
When this flame-colored goblet was placed in from of me, I was stunned to learn this was a mocktail. The gorgeous color, the foamy top with a dusting of cinnamon, and the glassware made this feel as spirited as any cocktail on The Edison’s menu, but it’s zero-proof!

Combining Mott’s apple juice, Oceanspray cranberry juice, cinnamon syrup, and a dash of lemon, this mocktail was surprisingly spicy (not too much, just pleasantly!) and refreshing at the same time. Our bartender called this “apple pie in a glass,” and it certainly gave all those feels.
It went down very easily, and I’d happily sip this from the punch bowl all season long. I really appreciated the expert craftsmanship that went into creating something non-alcoholic that was just as sophisticated as the other drinks we were about to try.
Underneath The Mistletoe
There’s no denying itā this drink is stunning! When they were brought around to our table, everyone started taking pictures of them on the tray, not realizing that the drinks came with the little mistletoe stand! (To be clear, that’s just for presentation, not yours to keep.)

Strawberry gin, Lillet Rose, white cranberry, lime, and a rosemary shimmer syrup coming to create the Underneath the Mistletoe. The most fruity of the bunch, it still wasn’t too sweet and had a nice balance of floral and herbaceous notes from the Lillet and rosemary; I felt very fancy sipping this beauty on The Edison’s lakeside patio.

We were instructed to swirl the fresh rosemary in the drink to allow it to show off that shimmerāĀ a very cool party trick!
Coquito

WOW! As a major fan of coquito (a Puerto Rican holiday drink made of coconut, rum, and spices), I was super excited to see this on the menu. Even better, I found out that The Edison has made their version vegan, plant-based and dairy-free so even more guests can enjoy it.
This was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of spice. Santa would certainly approve of sitting down to a cup of this with some cookies (after he’s returned to the North Pole and all the flying for the night is done, of course).
The Cosmic Poinsettia

As for that fourth beverage, it’s called the Cosmic Poinsettia, and it wasn’t quite ready for us to try at the preview, but it’s available starting today as well! It’s part of The Edison’s High Roller cocktail programā ultra high-end drinks for when you want to splurge. Each drink in the program comes with a high roller coin, and once you collect four, you can return them for a free high-roller cocktail!

Each of these cocktails was truly delicious and got me in the festive spiritā 10/10 I would recommend each of them and would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite. But if you’re looking for something Instagram-worthy, try the Underneath the Mistletoe for the ultimate holiday foodie pic.
Thanks to The Edison for hosting us for a preview tasting of their holiday beverage lineup.
