In an announcement made on Good Morning America, it was announced that an updated Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert film, as well as a new docuseries, will be coming to Disney+ later this year.

In 2023, Disney+ became the must-have streaming service for Swifties around the world as they debuted the highly anticipated recording of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. However, in 2024, alongside the debut of her album The Tortured Poets Department, Swift updated her Eras tour with songs from the album, which the Disney+ recording predated.

Since then, fans have wondered when a new recording featuring The Tortured Poets Department songs would become available – and where. Well, now we have our answer, in a recent announcement on Good Morning America.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour Docuseries and Concert Film Announced

It’s been announced that Disney+ will air a six-part docuseries on the Eras Tour, called The End of an Era. The series will share a behind-the-scenes look at the tour, which toured the world from March 2023 through December 2024. The first two episodes will premiere on Disney+ on December 12, with two episodes airing weekly for the next two weeks.

Also on December 12, Disney+ will release Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show. The updated full concert film will share the final concert of the Eras Tour at BC Place in Vancouver on December 8, 2024. The new film will feature the entire set of Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department album.

Fans can catch the first two episodes of The End of an Era, as well as Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show , starting December 12, only on Disney+.
