Disney Expands Adaptive Roleplay Costumes and Wheelchair Covers

One of the most notable updates in Disney’ 2021 Halloween costume bonanza is an increased offering of Adaptive Roleplay costumes and wheelchair cover sets.

This year’s Adaptive Roleplay slate serves up a wider range of choices, and the coolest of the bunch might just be the set inspired by The Mandalorian.

The set includes a cover that transforms your wheelchair into the Razor Crest, complete with authentic lights and sounds. And best of all? Wheel covers featuring the oh-so-cute visage of the Child. This is the way.

Or, if you’d rather go another way, shopDisney has Adaptive Roleplay costumes and wheelchair covers for beloved characters like Buzz Lightyear, Cinderella, and The Incredibles.

Halloween Is for the Dogs

It’s only fair that you’d want to get your best friend in on your Halloween plans this year—after all, you’ve kept one another sane over the last little while. So Disney, lovers of all things furry and fuzzy, is offering up a whole bunch of Halloween costumes for dogs.

Your pupper will look plenty dapper in the Abu Pet Costume, which turns your dog into a vessel for a Magic Carpet ride. Atop the soft and beautifully designed carpet sits Abu, Aladdin’s loyal companion, ready to share some zoomies.

Oh, look. Another glorious bowl of kibble. Makes me sick! Photo courtesy of shopDisney

There are a dozen great choices for pets at shopDisney. The best? It’s pretty hard to beat this Winifred Sanderson costume by Rubie’s, which’ll have your beagle mix looking like Bette Midler without even needing a dab of newt saliva. (No promises about dog drool.)
