Everything We Know About the Staterooms Aboard the Disney Treasure

by | Sep 12, 2023 | DCL News, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Treasure

We’re sharing the details you’ll find when you stay in one of the amazing staterooms found on Disney’s newest cruise ship.

One of the most important details of booking a Disney Cruise Line vacation is choosing your stateroom. Sure, you’ll spend plenty of time in the delicious dining spots and exploring lounges, pools, and so much more on board – but the staterooms are where you’ll head for rest and relaxation. And on the new Disney Treasure, the staterooms are sure to be standouts with plenty of room for families and uniquely designed theming (with that special Disney touch, of course).

Below, we’re sharing everything we know (so far!) about what the staterooms will be like on the Disney Treasure when it sets sail.

The Disney Treasure’s Staterooms Are Designed for Rest and Relaxation

When you step into your stateroom aboard any Disney Cruise Line ship, you know you’re about to have one wonderfully exciting – and relaxing! – vacation. On the Disney Treasure, you can expect the experience to be similar, but with extra touches specifically designed to create wholly restful accommodations.

In total, the Treasure will feature 1,256 staterooms. 1,133 of those rooms will feature an ocean view, either via a verandah or windows. The staterooms aboard the Treasure will be bright and airy in their decor and design. They are similar to the staterooms on the Disney Wish, but you’ll notice that there are plenty of differences. From new blankets and paintings to differetly-hued couches, the Treasure’s staterooms will tweak what’s familiar and give it a fresh update.

Additionally, there’s a big perk inside every Disney Treasure stateroom: Every stateroom will have a tub!

There will be a variety of different staterooms to choose from as you book voyages aboard the Treasure, all with different locations, sizing, and theming. On this ship, each stateroom will have the overall theme present, too: All of the treasures you can discover!

Beloved Disney Stories Take Center Stage Inside the Staterooms

The luxurious accommodations aboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Treasure, will strike an inviting balance between modern design and nostalgic charm with a fresh, natural color scheme and custom artwork that entices guests to peer beyond their staterooms into fantastical worlds from heartwarming Disney adventures. (Disney)

At the heart of the Disney Treasure is adventure, with nearly every detail of ship’s design planned around the spirit of adventure. So, in choosing the beloved Disney characters and stories that would appear in the ship’s staterooms, it’s no surprise that Disney Cruise Line opted for some of the most incredible adventurers you know!

The ship’s various elements were designed in collaboration Walt Disney Animation as well as Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm. All of these different studios were involved in the process, which means you’ll find characters from across many different Disney properties present.

When it comes to the staterooms specifically, the Treasure will offer options themed around Aladdin, The Lion King, and Luca. But there will also be far more of your favorite characters and stories found on board! For example, the specialty suites on this Disney ship will be themed after The Jungle Book (a change from the usual fairytales and princesses, like the specialty suites onboard the Disney Wish).

Additionally, one specialty suite on the Disney Treasure will reflect adventure in a different way: by looking ahead to tomorrow. The Tomorrow Tower Suite, which will have room for eight Guests, will feature a geodesic look, with style touches like wavy, carpeted walls and shades of grey. Inspired by the promise of tomorrow and the original premise behind EPCOT, this uniquely designed suite will sit inside the ship’s funnel and make Guests feel totally futuristic during their cruises.

Set high in the Disney Treasure’s forward funnel, The Tomorrow Tower Suite will be a one-of-a-kind suite that overlooks the ship’s top deck and glimpses the unbounded open horizon through an expansive two-story window. The Tomorrow Tower Suite captures the same forward-thinking mindset that inspired Walt Disney World Resort’s theme park, EPCOT. (Disney)

Inside the Tomorrow Tower Suite, you’ll also find touches that reference EPCOT and its beloved history with Disney fans. For example, you’ll want to keep an eye out for Figment if you have the chance to stay in the suite! The adorable purple dragon from Journey Into Imagination will be hiding in various poses throughout this special stateroom.

At the base of the winding spiral staircase inside the two-story suite, you’ll also notice a nod to EPCOT’s park icon: Spaceship Earth. A sculpture that brings Spaceship Earth to life will welcome you inside, with some cool music and lighting effects to make it extra-special.
