Whether you choose to walk or run, this exciting virtual event is a mission you can complete from anywhere in the world. And it’s designed to bring together Star Wars enthusiasts as well as those who loved Walt Disney World’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

About the Together As One 5K
Created by Marisa Alvarado (@behindtheearswdw) with the intent of bringing together those who loved their voyages aboard the soon-to-close Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the Together As One 5K is for anyone. Whether you’re an experienced runner, a Star Wars fan, or someone who’s simply looking for some community fun, this 5K is the perfect mission. You can choose your path and run the galaxy (or just the 3.1 miles set for this race!) whenever and wherever you choose.
Along the journey of the Together As One 5K, you’ll get missions and requests on your very own digital device – and you’ll also have the chance to share your progress in an exclusive Facebook group just for race attendees. The only requirement is you’ll need to complete your walk or run by September 30, 2023.
Oh, and did we mention that participants will have the chance to win a thrilling galactic prize pack? As you document your progress and share your story across social media using #togetherasone5k, you’ll be entered to win a prize pack that includes items from your favorite Disney magazine: WDW Magazine, of course!
How to Sign Up for the Together As One 5K
Ready to join the galaxy-wide fun and sign up for the Together As One 5K? It’s easy to do so! Just visit the signup page here.
As soon as you’re signed up, you’ll receive a digital access kit delivered via email. Additionally, the fee for this virtual 5K goes to a great cause. Your donation directly supports the efforts of A Better Life – Pet Rescue in Central Florida, an organization that rescues animals and empowers local community members to foster them.
