In some exciting Disney Cruise Line news, both Star Wars Day at Sea and Marvel Day at Sea are returning in 2022.
Disney Cruise Line (DCL) sailings are already special, but they become even more unique thanks to opportunities like themed days that take place during select sailings.
Come 2022, certain DCL sailings will once again see the addition of Marvel Day at Sea on the Disney Magic and Star Wars Day at Sea on the Disney Fantasy.
Below is everything you need to know about the days, the itineraries, and more.

Marvel Day at Sea will be available during 5-night Disney Magic sailings out of Miami, Florida that travel to the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
Guests will be able to celebrate all things Marvel all day long with a variety of opportunities.
Here’s when Marvel Day at Sea will take place in 2022:
- January 8: 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise
- January 17: 5-Night Bahamian Cruise
- January 22: 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise
- January 31: 5-Night Bahamian Cruise
- February 5: 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise
- February 14: 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise
- February 19: 5-Night Bahamian Cruise
- February 28: 5-Night Bahamian Cruise
- March 5: 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise

Star Wars Day at Sea will be available during 7-night Disney Fantasy sailings from Port Canaveral, Florida, to the Caribbean.
Like Marvel Day at Sea, this particular celebration allows Star Wars fan to honor the famous characters and stories brought to life by George Lucas.
Here’s when Star Wars Day at Sea will take place in 2022:
- January 8: 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise
- January 15: 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise
- January 22: 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise
- January 29: 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise
- February 5: 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise
- February 12: 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise
- February 19: 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise
- February 26: 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise
- March 5: 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise
It’s unclear how or if health and safety protocols will impact the celebrations, but Disney will no doubt make the day as memorable as possible.
Keep in mind that DCL sailings continue to be suspended, with the latest suspensions occurring in April and May. Who knows what 2022 holds for DCL, but we will keep you updated.
