The 2022 Disney Parks “Eggstravaganza” character egg hunts are back and have officially begun around the Disneyland Resort—and I’ve found every Disney character “egg” in its hiding spot. If you want to skip hunting, read on for the Disneyland Park location spoilers.
If you would’ve told me ten years ago, I’d be living my best Disney life with 4 littles in tow, I never would have believed you. Yet, here I am, not only getting around the parks with them, but happily participating in seasonal events like this in both parks and Downtown Disney— But as a busy mom, sometimes hunting for “hidden” eggs can be much more magical with a little planning.
These hunts are a fun activity for kids and adults during the busier springtime at the resort. Here’s all the details you need, plus all the locations of each egg so you can plan accordingly!
How to Play Disneyland’s 2022 Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt

To get your egg hunt started, you will need to purchase an Eggstravaganza game board complete with stickers for $9.99 (before discounts or tax. Yes, Magic Key discounts apply).
You can find game boards at select merchandise locations:
- 20th Century Music Company
- Adventureland Bazaar
- Bonanza Outfitters
- Disney Showcase
- Disneyana
- Emporium
- Le Petite Chalet
- Little Green Men Store Command
- Pieces of Eight
- Pooh Corner
- “it’s a small world” Toy Shop
- Both a game board sales location as well as an egg prize redemption location:
- Plaza Point
Pro Tip: I like to choose and redeem my prize egg when I purchase my game board so that I don’t have to return to the location later. This is especially helpful with little ones, as it allows for immediate satisfaction when they find the last character egg and place their last sticker on the game board.
Tips for Finding Hidden Disneyland Easter eggs
Not sure where to start your hunt, but don’t want to cut straight to the spoilers?
- “Hints” are located on each empty egg location on your game board. “Tomorrowland Planter” for instance directs you to the land and more than a few places to look. Whereas the hint “Harbour Gallery” narrows it down a bit more.
- Search high, low, in and out of locations for the eggs. There are some very well camouflaged into merchandise locations as well as high up above you.
- Make the hunt a daytime activity. At Disneyland, it can be difficult to find some of the eggs as the sun goes down.

Donald Duck

Game Hint: “Fortuosity”: The Donald Duck egg can be found inside Fortuosity on Main Street U.S.A., atop a cabinet displaying merchandise.
Tinker Bell

Game Hint: “Pinocchio’s Daring Journey”: Located on top of the entrance to the attraction, Tinker Bell’s egg sits in the balcony next to Pinocchio himself.
Mr. Toad

Game Hint: “Fantasyland Theatre”: You’ll find the Mr. Toad egg right where you’d think– in the marshy grasslands leading up to the theatre.
Mickey Mouse

Game Hint: “Corn Dog Cart”: Mickey Mouse himself is parked on top of a classic red wagon located between the new Plaza Point Holiday Shoppe and Plaza Inn
Daisy Duck

Game Hint: “Tomorrowland Planter”: Planted in front of the futuristic silver metallic wall of Tomorrowland’s entrance, you’ll find the Daisy Duck egg.
Thumper

Game Hint: “Pooh Corner”: Hop on down to the end of Critter Country and find Thumper the Bunny’s egg hidden in the balcony under Kanga’s mailbox.
Pluto

Game Hint: “Hungry Bear Restaurant”: Pluto is sitting high above the Hungry Bear restaurant admiring the passing canoes and travelers passing through from Batuu.
Pro Tip: Since this egg is located directly above the restrooms, This is a great spot for a bathroom break!
Chip

Game Hint: “Harbour Galley”: The Chip egg may be the easiest of the bunch to find. The low, small rooftop above Harbour Galley’s counter has him smiling directly at New Orleans Square.
Dale

Game Hint: “Southseas Traders”: You can find Dale carefully balancing on the 2nd story railing of the former location of South Seas Traders, now part of Bengal Barbeque.
Goofy

Game Hint: “Big Thunder Mountain Railroad”: We’re not goofing around here– the water tower that holds the stand-by wait time sign also holds up the Goofy egg.
Minnie Mouse

Game Hint: “Pioneer Mercantile”: You’ll find the Minnie Mouse egg on the shelf above the door to Pioneer Mercantile, right where you can get leather goods personalized.
White Rabbit

Game Hint: “Mad Hatter Main Street U.S.A.”: No time to say hello, goodbye, you’ve found the White Rabbit egg on the signage for the store– and now you’re all done with your hunt!
2022 Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt Prize
If you didn’t pick and redeem your egg at the start, you can take your game board to Plaza Point and pick from one of 6 eggs for this year – Genie, Dopey, Cheshire Cat, Marie, Spot, or Robin Hood.
Disneyland Resort’s Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt runs now until April 17th, 2022; Game board redemption is valid through April 30, 2022.
