If you are looking to splurge on one thing during your Disney Cruise, it would have to be a private cabana at Disney’s Castaway Cay. There are two beaches where you can rent a private cabana: the Family Beach or Serenity Bay. Serenity Bay is the adults-only section of Disney’s private island, where there are a select number of private cabanas that guests can rent out to enhance their tropical getaway experience. We’re taking you on a full tour of what a private cabana at Serenity Bay is like, and exactly what is included.

Touring a Private Cabana at Disney’s Castaway Cay

These private cabanas come with beautiful furnishings and give beachgoers the perfect view of the crystal clear, blue waters of the Bahamas. Once you get off the boat and take the tram over to Serenity Bay, a cabana host will be waiting for you where they will greet you and shuttle you to your cabana via golf cart. From the moment you step inside your private cabana, you will feel like beach royalty as you take in the spacious and luxurious cabana.

Inside, there is plenty of seating, plus there is an outdoor patio that overlooks Serenity Bay and the crystal-clear waters of the Bahamas. On the outdoor patio, guests will find two cushioned lounge chairs and a chaise lounger – plus a hammock! One of the best aspects of the private cabana is guests have access to their very own private outdoor, freshwater shower and foot wash.

In addition to the fruit basket and granola bars included in your cabana, guests also have access to a button that they can press, which will bring a cabana host to you and bring you anything else you need. For lunch, you have the option to either call your cabana host or take a free bike, which is included with your cabana rental, to the buffet at the family beach. There is also a buffet on Serenity Beach if you do not want to travel to the main beach.

And when it’s time to head back to the ship, your cabana host Cast Member will take you directly to the boat – meaning no hassle of boarding a tram!

• Luxurious chaise lounge chairs and comfortable seating
• Freshwater shower
• Hammock
• Unlimited bottled water and soda
• Fresh fruit and snacks
• Coppertone SPF products
• Snorkel equipment and sand toys (only for use on the family beach)
• Float and tubes for the water
• Bike rental
• Magazines
• A Cabana host

How Much Does a Castaway Cay Cabana Cost?

Prices can vary depending on which season you are traveling in. For the summertime, the prices are as follows:

• Family Beach Cabana = $599 for 6 guests with a max of 10 guests
• Grand Family Beach Cabana = $949 for 10 guests with a max of 16 guests
• Serenity Bay Beach Cabana = $399 for 4 guests with a max of 10 guests
