Disney has unveiled the themes for runDisney’s 2021 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, and they’re villainous, to say the least.

On July 1, Disney announced that in-person runDisney races are officially returning to Walt Disney World (WDW) beginning in fall 2021.

At the time of the highly anticipated announcement, Disney revealed four races and confirmed that there will also be virtual races for each event.

Now, as of July 7, Disney has announced its themes for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. Let’s take a look!

We previously learned that the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend will have a villain theme. Now we know which villains have been assigned to each race.

They are as follows:

  • 10K: Oogie Boogie and Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Half-Marathon: Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove
  • Two-Course Challenge (1oK and Half-Marathon): Ursula from The Little Mermaid

The half-marathon event takes pace from November 4 through November 7, 2021.

There is even a post-race after-hours party at EPCOT for runners and their families during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.

If you register for the half-marathon, post-race party tickets are included. Friends and family can also purchase tickets for $89 per person.
