runDisney races are back for 2024 and 2025! Disney has shared the dates for the races at Disney World and Disneyland.

Get your running shoes on! The popular runDisney race series will be returning for 2024 and 2025 with fan-favorites along with new races. Both Disney World and Disneyland will be hosting themed marathons, with virtual race series available as well to do from home.

If you’ve never participated in a runDisney race before, it’s truly the most magical race on Earth. The event gives you the chance to sign up for a number of different races that take you through areas of the parks. Along the way you can enjoy specialty entertainment, see fun characters, and surround yourself with other Disney running enthusiasts. Here’s a look for what’s in store for runDisney in 2024 and 2025.

runDisney Returns to Walt Disney World in 2024 and 2025

In 2024, you can enjoy the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, which takes place from October 31 to November 3, 2024. The 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will take place from January 8 to January 12, 2025, and the 2025 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will be held from February 20 to February 24, 2025. Finally, the 2025 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend will be from April 3 to April 6, 2025.

Here’s a look at when registration will open for each of these magical races:

Join Virtual Races in Summer and Winter 2024

Can’t make an in-person race? That’s okay! You can join in the 2024 runDisney Virtual Series, which will take place from June 1 to August 31, 2024, with registration opening on March 26, 2024. This year you can also experience the runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas from December 1 to December 31, 2024, with registration opening July 9, 2024.

The runDisney Virtual Series lets you log your miles from anywhere you like, whether it’s at home or anywhere around the world. You can then log your hours toward official events.

runDisney Introducing a New Halloween Race at Disneyland Resort in 2024

In 2024, runDisney races will officially be returning to Disneyland Resort — including a brand new Halloween race! From September 5 to September 8, 2024, you can race in the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend. And from January 30 to February 2, 2025, the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend will be returning for another year.
