Romance and Disney go together like Cinderella and her glass slipper, Baloo and his bare necessities, Aladdin and his magic carpet. You really can’t think of Disney without thinking about all of the love stories and living happily ever after.
Disney as a whole makes us swoon and fall in love with love. It’s no wonder that Disney World, as one of the most magical places on earth, is also one of the most romantic places as well.
When my husband and I go to Disney, each trip is dusted (pixie-dusted that is) with romance. Here are some of my favorite romantic activities at Walt Disney paired with Disneybound outfit inspirations.
Fine Dining at a Signature Disney Restaurant
At Disney World, there are plenty of fine dining restaurants to pick from — literally almost every deluxe resort, as well as the theme parks, have a fine dining option!
This gives you and your significant other a chance to dress up and treat yourself to a wonderful dinner in a magical setting. My top four restaurants are Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian and Tiffins at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Marie from Aristocats seems like the perfect high-class choice to Disneybound in an upscale WDW restaurant. And dressing up as Alice sets the perfect scene as I pick out which drinks I’d label with “Drink Me”.
Enjoy A Nighttime Spectacular
To make watching fireworks even more romantic, head over to the Polynesian Village beach. I either bring a blanket to sit on and watch the fireworks and if you are early enough, you can grab a hammock on the beach.
Nothing says romance more than sitting under the stars with your arms wrapped around your sweetheart. Usually, I find myself teary-eyed from not only enjoying the show but being able to enjoy it with my husband!
Another way to enjoy the fireworks show is Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise. Anything paired with dessert is a romantic win in my eyes! This cruise is reservation only and only departs on certain nights. But, this is something to look into when you have time to plan!
Te Fiti from Moana is a great style option for enjoying a night at the Polynesian Resort. This Disneybound outfit resembles a true beach paradise. All I need in my hand is a fruity coconut drink.
Also, I may not be headed to 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney in this Dory Disneybound outfit, but it is a great option for heading out on the Ferrytale Fireworks Cruise. Being out on the water just makes me want to sing “Just Keep Swimming!”
Starlight Safari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Can you feel the love tonight?! This is another evening activity for you and your king or queen. This safari is open to all resort guests, not just the ones staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
This is a fun and exciting outing that will give you a rush of emotion and is a great experience for all to enjoy. You will need to make reservations for this as well, so be sure to call in advance since this tour is very popular.
This outfit is not a laughing matter. I am channeling a hyena for this Disneybound outfit, but my true loyalty is with the king of Pride Rock, which hopefully you will see during your night safari ride!
Walk Around Hand and Hand
One of my favorite things to do at Disney World is just walking around holding hands! Try visiting other hotels on Disney Property. I recommend walking around The Grand Floridian, Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter, and The Boardwalk. This is just a fun and carefree activity for you and your true love.
In my opinion, Ursula is one of the most fashionable Disney villains of all time and creating a Disneybound outfit inspired by this sea witch is a must! This Disneybound outfit is light, airy and can work pretty much year-round at Disney World. To me, this outfit will grab attention (especially your significant other) while walking around any Disney property.
Walking around Disney World is like walking around the Hundred Acre Wood. You know you are going to need to dress appropriately for walking and standing for long periods of time. This outfit is exactly like Pooh. It is playful, easy, and I can eat as much as I want and still be comfortable on my Disney date!
When you are at Disney, embrace this mindset: “love is a story that never ends”- Bambi.
