Disney has released more details on the upcoming Rogers: The Musical, including how the virtual queue will work for the show.

We are counting down the days until we can see Rogers: The Musical at Disney California Adventure! The musical is adapted from the musical of the same name that was featured in the Disney+ series Hawkeye, telling the story of Captain America and the Avengers. Featuring original music and 30-minute performances, the show will debut at the Hyperion Theater starting on June 30th. We’ve already gotten a first look at some of the exciting treats that will be coming to the park in celebration of the show’s debut, and now Disney has released even more details on the upcoming show!

Rogers: The Musical to Use Virtual Queue

Rogers: The Musical will perform several times per day, Tuesday through Saturday most weeks, through its limited-time engagement. While the virtual queue is not required, Disneyland will be employing a virtual queue through the Disneyland app to access viewing areas for the show.

Each day that Rogers: The Musical is performing, you can access the virtual queue beginning at 10:30 AM PST for the first two shows and 2:00 PM PST for the remaining shows of the day. To join the virtual queue, guests must have already entered Disney California Adventure with a one-park ticket or Park Hopper ticket or Disneyland with a Park Hopper ticket.

While the virtual queue is not required to view Rogers: The Musical, since it’s a limited-capacity show, Disney highly recommends it. Once a guest joins the virtual queue, they’ll be called back to the Hyperion Theater when the physical queue is open (approx. 30 to 45 minutes before the show starts).

If you choose to use the standby queue, it will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rogers: The Musical Premium Viewing Experience

Another option to watch Rogers: The Musical is through the Rogers: The Musical Premium Viewing Experience package. This package can be bought from the Studio Catering Co. Truck in Hollywood Land and is available in limited quantities per performance.

The package includes a Rogers: The Musical popcorn bucket with kettle corn and a choice of bottled beverage, plus access to lounge seating before the show, and a priority choice of seating in the theater. Guests who purchase this can also receive a souvenir lanyard and “access to a unique photo opportunity.”

Collectible Merchandise Will Be Available Near the Hyperion Theater

Along with exciting new treats inspired by the show, you’ll also have the chance to buy collectible merch near the Hyperion Theater. This will include a t-shirt, magnet, and ornament. You can also take advantage of two limited-time Magic Shots, where you can pose with Captain America’s shield in front to the Hyperion Theater marquee.

If you want to check out Rogers: The Musical, you can see it at the Hyperion Theater starting on June 30th through August 31st, 2023.
