Worth the price? My honest review of the Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake at Magic Kingdom…
With so many Halloween treats to choose from at the parks this October, it can be tough to decide which spooky-cute snack is worth your hard-earned money.
Snacks range from about $4 to $7, so picking and choosing can really pay off.
I tried the Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcake for the first time this year at Magic Kingdom, and… I wish I’d tried it sooner!

Priced at $6.99, I’ll bet you’d like to have an idea of whether or not this is something you’d enjoy.
Sweetness
I typically stay away from cupcakes because they tend to be too sugary for my taste. But the Not-So-Poison Apple wasn’t too sweet. The inside of the cupcake was apple spice cake, so it was a traditional autumn flavor without tasting like straight-up sugar.
If I wanted extra sugar with each bite, I could control that by scooping up some of that huge lump of buttercream icing. Icing on demand? yes, please.
Texture
It passed the mushy test, too. With that pecan and what I think is probably brown sugar mixture, there was a bit of crunch for each bite, too. I’m big on balanced texture and this did the trick.

Serving Size
This cupcake earns the pricetag yet again with its size. It’s HUGE.
This could easily be munched on by three or four friends. It’s definitely too much for one person, so be sure to bring a buddy.
It’s certainly enough dessert if you’ve also purchased a full lunch at Pinnochio Village Haus.

💋 The icing has a lot of red dye in it, so no need for lipstick after this snack. 💋
From someone who isn’t that into cupcakes (Disney blasphemy, I know), this is a cupcake that I will be buying again before the Halloween season closes at Magic Kingdom. Worth the price! 💸
