EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays is here at Walt Disney World, and so is our honest, ad-free review of the Holiday Hearth booth!
Disney announced the menu items for Festival of the Holidays, but we’re filling in the blanks with prices and reviews… so you know what’s worth your snack dollar!
Holiday Hearth is located within the World Showplace—the indoor festival center in between the UK and Canada Pavilions!
Red Velvet Mini Bundt Cake
This picture-perfect treat was the one thing I was most excited to try—with the festive colors it is perfect for this time of year! One thing is for sure though; this cake is SWEET!
Let’s talk about the red velvet base—absolutely delicious. It was moist, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. What threw me for a loop was the cream cheese icing.
The icing was thick and you could almost taste the granules of sugar throughout it, it was that sweet. Now I am partial to desserts, but that icing was too much for me.
For $4.00, this cake is incredibly affordable and a great portion size—I would recommend trying it for yourself if you have a huge sweet tooth!
Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie
This delicious cookie is so so cute and has incredible flavors! It’s a sugar cookie sandwich with salted caramel filling inside and is light and buttery while also being sweet and tasty.
The consistency of this cookie was perfect, it is without a doubt my favorite dessert from Holiday Hearth. At $5.25, this would be a lovely treat to bring back and enjoy on the ride back home.
If you love sweet trail mixes, this one is simply the cutest. In a Festival of the Holidays branded bag, this treat includes two types of sweet popcorn, chocolate covered pretzels and M&Ms.
Portion wise, this is definitely a sharable snack. It is the most expensive item we tried at $6.50, but you could easily split this with 2 or 3 people.
I personally am not a sweet trail mix fan, though the convenient packaging allowed me to bring it home for my fiancé to have a try—he loved it!
The saltiness of the pretzels really balanced out the different sweet flavors from the other items in the mix.
Review: Holiday Hearth
If you’re searching for a booth with the best variety of desserts, Holiday Hearth is the way to go!
While each item was not exactly my cup of tea, the range of items here is impressive compared to some of the other booths we’ve tried.
From savory to sweet treats, Holiday Hearth also has a respectable cost to portion ratio allowing you to get some serious bang for your buck!
