by | Dec 1, 2020 | EPCOT, Walt Disney World Food, WDW Blog

EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays is here at Walt Disney World, and so is our honest, ad-free France booth review!

Disney announced the menu items for Festival of the Holidays, but we’re filling in the blanks with prices and reviews… so you know what’s worth your snack dollar!

My first booth of the festival is the Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen in the France Pavilion.

I haven’t tried this booth before at Festival of the Holidays, but I’ve always enjoyed the food during other festivals at the France booth so I was excited to try it.

The France booth has always provided a full meal with an appetizer, entree, and dessert.

Rillette de Saumon

Price: $5.75

First up is Rillette de Saumon which is a salmon spread with house-made bread. I’m a huge fan of salmon spread and this one had a great balance of salty with a fresh lemon taste.

I did wish there was a better spread to bread ratio since I did up with leftover bread.

Dinde Forestiere, Pommes Dauphines

Price: $6.95

The Dinde Forestiere, Pommes Dauphines is new this year! This dish consists of turkey with bacon, mushrooms, onions in a mustard cream sauce with puffed potatoes.

I thought it was delicious with its flavorful and tender turkey paired with the fun to eat puffed potatoes.

I thought the price was a very reasonable price considering the large portion of turkey. I could go for more puffed potatoes though because I liked them so much!

Buche de Noel au Caramel

Price: $5.25

And now the most important part, the dessert! The Buche de Noel au Caramel is a chocolate cake rolled in dark chocolate caramel ganache.

While the dessert could have used more caramel, the chocolate cake and ganache were rich and creamy and the little colored balls on top provided a nice surprise crunch.

I’m so pleased with my first Festival of the Holiday booth and can’t wait to try more until Dec 31st.
