REVIEW: Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club

by | Jun 4, 2021 | WDW Blog, WDW Food, WDW Resorts

Looking for an unforgettable dessert, or a quick meal near EPCOT? See the menu for Beaches and Cream in this honest review!

Disney’s Beaches and Cream Soda Shop is nuzzled across the sand bottom waters of Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach Club. This Table-Service is popular for its classic ice cream parlor decor, delicious eats, and most importantly, its delectable desserts.

Since it is a guest favorite, reservations are highly recommended and sometimes hard to find; however, there is a walk-up list you can join if there is any availability. The to-go window is currently not available.

More Than Desserts

Where Beaches and Cream is stationed there is a great view of the expansive pool area of Beach Club with adorable ice cream tables and chairs outside.

Inside it’s even cuter with its pastel-colored chairs, light fixtures, and fun artworks of Mickey and his friends enjoying their time at the Beach Club Resort.

There’s even a working jukebox in the corner adding to the ambiance and entertainment of this restaurant.

Beaches and Cream Review

Let’s talk about the food.

As you can see, the menu is full of delicious eats and there’s something for everyone.

In previous visits, we’ve gone solely for desserts but on our most recent visit, we decided to try some of the food!

The Kids hotdog, french fries, and watermelon chunks at Beaches and Cream

My kids ordered the kids’ meal hotdog and hamburger with two sides each and devoured it all.

I wanted to save room for dessert so I ordered the chili and cheese tots instead of an entree! I’m a huge fan of french fries but there’s something about tater tots that I can’t resist.

It was the perfect base for all my favorite toppings and I liked how there were enough toppings to cover every tot. It was a good portion for a side dish and the kids helped me finish it.

The No Way Jose Sundae at Beaches and Cream at Disney's Beach Club Resort

Now onto the main event of this meal, the No Way José sundae. It’s our favorite sundae there because it combines the best of both worlds: peanut butter and hot fudge! The morsels added some texture and the portion is definitely large enough to be shared.

Next time you’re visiting EPCOT or staying at Disney’s Beach or Yacht Club, make sure to check out this hidden gem. Its charming decor, comfort food, and impressive desserts make it a Disney fan favorite!
