Located near EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a resort that is equal parts relaxing and adventurous. Discover our top three reasons we’d recommend a stay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Inspired by New England charm, Disney’s Beach Club Resort offers relaxation, adventure, and delicious dining options. Located in the EPCOT Resort area, just a short walk away from EPCOT, this deluxe Disney resort is a fan favorite. But what makes Disney’s Beach Club Resort so unique and special? Aside from its immersive, beachy theme, some key things make this resort stand out among the rest. Why do we think that you should stay at Disney’s Beach Club? Here are our top three reasons!
Disney’s Beach Club Resort Pool: Stormalong Bay

One of our number one reasons to stay at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is because of its pool. Stormalong Bay is the main feature pool that is shared by both Disney’s Beach Club and Disney’s Yacht Club Resorts. What makes Stormalong Bay so special? It is essentially a miniature water park at a Disney Resort. This area is 3 acres, which includes a lazy river, water slides, a sand bottom pool, and even a replica of a shipwreck. Only guests at the two resorts can use the amenities here, so you’ll want to make sure to grab a wristband for access!
Kids and adults alike will enjoy all of the fun things that this pool has to offer. From water amenities to Cast Member-led events like pool games and trivia, there is something for every member of the family to do. Plus, adults can also have some of their own fun! Located right by the pool, Hurricane Hanna’s is a pool bar where guests can enjoy drinks and snacks throughout the day. Beaches and Cream Soda Shop is right nearby as well (more on that in a minute!). Whether you decide to have a chill day, an adventurous day, or a little bit of both, Stormalong Bay’s pool is the perfect place to enjoy those experiences.
Proximity to EPCOT & Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney World’s hotels are known for having convenient transportation options to the parks. Your options can include everything from buses, to the Monorail, and the Disney Skyliner gondola system. But, few things can beat the ability to have just a short walk into a theme park! Disney’s Beach Club Resort is conveniently located right between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and there are a few simple ways to get to either park — including walking!
The walk from Disney’s Beach Club to EPCOT is around 5-7 minutes and allows guests to enter through the International Gateway between the U.K. and France Pavilions. The walk from Disney’s Beach Club to Hollywood Studios is a bit longer, taking about 10-15 minutes. You’ll exit the walkway near the bus station and head to the park entrance. The walk is extremely scenic, though, and is a very convenient way to get there.
If walking isn’t what you are interested in, that’s okay! Disney’s Beach Club also offers a few different transportation options. For Magic Kingdom, you can take a bus or take the EPCOT Monorail to the TTC and switch to the Magic Kingdom Monorail from there. Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers a bus service, and for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can walk, or take the Disney Skyliner over from the EPCOT Skyliner station (a short walk from the Beach Club).
Dining Options at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Of course, when looking at a resort hotel, guest rooms, and amenities are top of mind. But so are your dining options! Making sure the resort has some delicious, high-quality food options is extremely important. Luckily, Disney’s Beach Club Resort has some great picks both in and out of the hotel. The hotel is connected to Disney’s Yacht Club, giving you easy access to any dining there. It’s also a short walk from EPCOT and Disney’s BoardWalk, which opens your options up even MORE. However, if you’re looking to just stay within Disney’s Beach Club, there are some delicious options awaiting you.
Cape May Cafe

Cape May Cafe is a New-England-inspired restaurant that pays homage to the seashore. Thanks to its bountiful buffet meals, including a delicious character breakfast and seafood buffet dinner, guests can truly enjoy an escape to the shore. Breakfast welcomes guests to enjoy a selection of breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, sausage, “beach buns,” and french toast. But the fun doesn’t stop with your meal. It also includes a unique opportunity to meet Minnie, Goofy, Daisy, and Donald in their beachware!
Dinner at Cape May Cafe takes on a new identity when seafood reigns supreme. With options like Paella, Roasted Chicken, a traditional New England Steam Boil with Clams, Mussels, and Shrimp, plus much more, there is something for every guest to enjoy. While dinner doesn’t include characters, the buffet makes it a great option for anyone looking to get their fill of seafood. Plus, having this convenient option located right in your resort makes jumping on a waitlist an easy option.
Beaches and Cream Soda Shop

Nostalgia takes center stage at the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Inspired by the Atlantic Seashore, guests can pull up a chair and sip on flavored sodas, malted milkshakes, and more while being transported to the days of old. While Beaches and Cream is a great spot to enjoy different burgers and sandwiches (such as their famous Beaches and Cream Grilled Cheese, the Cheddar-Bacon-Ranch Chicken Sandwich, and the French Dip Sandwich) dessert is really where they shine.
From different desserts to sundaes, ice cream creations, and floats, guests will have their sweet tooth satisfied. Plus, if you are feeling especially daring, give the Kitchen Sink a try. Serving four people, the Kitchen Sink comes complete with an ornate presentation and includes all the toppings and ice cream flavors you could imagine. This restaurant is a popular one, so you’ll want to make sure to grab a reservation in advance! However, if you’re just looking to pick up an ice cream, you can also do so at the to-go window outside.
