It’s Economical
Value resorts offer the most economical price range for rooms at Walt Disney World. If you’re the type to be constantly on-the-go, a value resort like Pop Century might be all you need for a place to rest your head at night.
Don’t be fooled… economical doesn’t always mean cheap. Pop Century recently had room updates. All standard rooms now contain two queen beds, which replaced the doubles. One of those queen beds is a Murphy bed, when it folds up it converts to a table! Hardwood floors allow for better cleanliness and raised beds allow for extra suitcase storage underneath.
Additional Dining Options
While Pop Century has its own food court with a nice variety of food, guests are in close proximity to other resorts if they want to expand their options.
Guests can walk over to Disney’s Art of Animation and eat at Landscape of Flavors, or guests can take the Skyliner to Caribbean Beach or the Riviera for even more dining options!
Skyliner Transportation

Pop Century shares a Skyliner station with Disney’s Art of Animation. The Skyliner can transport guests to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. It’s a great alternative to Disney Bus Transportation!

Bus Transportation
With only one bus stop at Pop Century, lines can form and the wait times can get long– especially in the morning. Some people opt to drive themselves, catch an Uber or Lyft, or they may walk over and try their luck with Disney’s Art of Animation buses.
Noise
Pop Century has a higher guest capacity; therefore when it’s busy, it can get noisy. If you don’t like noise, ask for a room away from the pools.
Spread Out
Pop Century is spread out. If you’re not in a preferred room, be prepared to walk a little further to the main building. The extra walking isn’t all so bad though, you’ll be able to check out the fun theming and you just might be closer to the Skyliner station.
Should You Stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort?

If you don’t intend to spend too much time at your resort, Pop Century is a great choice to save money yet stay in the middle of the magic!
If your traveling party consists of four adults– the rooms here may feel like a tight squeeze. We recommend opting for a slightly larger room at a moderate resort, like Disney’s Caribbean Beach, to allow for a more comfortable stay.
