New Princess Tiana Pin Coming Soon to shopDisney

by | Jan 24, 2024 | Magic at Home, Walt Disney World Merch, WDW Blog

A new Princess Tiana pin has been released in the Disney Parks, and will soon be available on shopDisney. The pin was designed by a Walt Disney Imagineer inspired by their concept for the tiara in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

It’s an exciting year for fans of Princess Tiana. In the past few years, we’ve gotten new locations inspired by The Princess and the Frog, including Tiana’s Palace and Eudora’s Chic Boutique at Disneyland Resort. And later this year, we’ll get one of the most exciting developments of all — Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a full ride inspired by the princess and other characters from the 2009 film. Ahead of the new ride, Disney has shared a look at a recently released souvenir inspired by Princess Tiana.

New Princess Tiana Pin Designed by Walt Disney Imagineer

A new Princess Tiana tiara pin is now available at locations around Disney World and Disneyland. And soon, the new limited-release pin will be available to shop online at shopDisney. The pin was designed by Brittany L. Smith, a senior production designer with Walt Disney Imagineering. It takes inspiration from Smith’s concept for the tiara featured in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

Smith is also a designer for Tiana’s Audio-Animatronics character in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which will be opening later this year at both Disney World and Disneyland. You can shop for the pin now in the parks (or online soon) for $17.99.
